In conjunction with the festive seasons, Baiduri Bank and Hua Ho Department Store jointly launched the Festive Surprises Promotion from 01 October 2005 to 31 March 2006 at Hua Ho Department Store outlets in Kiulap, Delima and Gadong.

As part of the promotion, Baiduri American Express Cardmembers enjoyed an additional 10% discount during the month of Ramadhan at the participating Hua Ho Department Store outlets. The discount was storewide, with the exception of supermarket items.

Due to the overwhelming response by Cardmembers, this special offer has been extended until 31 December 2005. Cardmembers can now take advantage of the 10% discount not only during the Hari Raya celebration but also for year end shopping.

Besides the discount, the Festive Surprises Promotion includes a variety of rewarding features for Baiduri cardholders, such as the opportunity to walk away with return tickets for two to Gold Coast (Australia), Japan or Korea plus BND2000 spending money. Other top prizes include Hua Ho shopping voucher worth BND3,000, Thompson furniture voucher worth BND2,000, home theatre system, classic DVD hi-fi and dinnerware.

The first draw is scheduled to take place on 8 January 2006, while the second draw will take place on 2 April 2006.
