As part of Baiduri Bank’s continuous effort in its commitment towards safety, Fire Services Department and Baiduri Bank have again jointly organised the Basic Fire Prevention training at the New Fire Training Centre, Perpindahan Lambak Kanan for a group of 14 Baiduri Bank employees comprising of the Bank’s senior management and officers on Wednesday 21 June 2006.

Among those who participated from the Bank’s senior management team was Mr Raymond Bariou, Senior Deputy General Manager of Baiduri Bank, Mr Andrew Young, Deputy General Manager of Operation and Haji Haliluddin bin Dato Hj Talib, General Manager of Baiduri Finance.

Supt. Janaidi bin Hj Gunong, Commandant of Training Centre, Lambak Kanan and other senior officials from the Fire Services Department welcomed the members of the Bank senior management team.

The Basic Fire Prevention Training began with a presentation conducted by PSO. Alipah Aini bte Aliakat, Assistant Head of Public Relation of Fire Services Department followed by a hands-on training on the use and maintenance of fire extinguishers.

Through the training, participants will have developed greater awareness and understanding of the hazards of fire, their personal responsibility in preventing an outbreak and the action to be taken should a fire occur.
