The first draw for the mobile phone-winning promotion for the Western Union Direct to BankSM (D2B) service to the Philippines and Indonesia jointly organized by Baiduri Bank and The Western Union Company® was conducted on Wednesday, 23 May 2007 at Baiduri Bank Kiarong branch.
NurAinun Abdullah, representative of Western Union, presented the prize today – the Motorola L6 mobile phone, to the two winners, Ms Muslihah Asmawiranom and Mr Budiman Jaya at the prize presentation ceremony today at Baiduri Bank Kiarong branch.
For each money transfer to either Philippines or Indonesia using Western Union D2B service at any Baiduri Bank branches, customers can get one chance to win Motorola L2 mobile phones and other exciting prizes. The next prize draw will be conducted on June 2007.
In addition, customers who are also Western Union Gold CardSM members can earn five points by sending money from Brunei. These points can be accumulated to redeem free gifts such as radio clocks, jackets and watches. Customers can apply for a Western Union Gold Card free of charge at any Western Union locations at Baiduri Bank.
The Western Union D2B service is available at all Baiduri Bank branches throughout Brunei. The Bank also offers greater convenience through its extended hours branches located at The Mall and Supa Save Gadong, which opens seven days a week.
