The yearlong watch promotion organised jointly by Baiduri Bank and Gold Mercury Sdn Bhd ran from January 2007 to December 2007. Cardmembers will automatically be enrolled to this exclusive watch promotion draw anytime they charge their purchase to their Baiduri credit cards locally or overseas.
Baiduri Bank has partnered with the premier watch retailer Gold Mercury Sdn Bhd in this yearlong promotion, in which the promotion was divided into two categories. Category 1 winners were picked based on transactions using selected Baiduri cards namely Baiduri MasterCard Ladies Card, Baiduri MasterCard Gold Card, RBA American Express Card Amex® Card and American Express Gold Card only. Three lucky winners were announced every quarter for Category 1 whereby Cardmembers get chances to win exclusive watches designed by Tommy Hilfiger, Anne Klein New York, AK Anne Klein and JLo by Jennifer Lopez for each quarter. Gold Mercury is the sole distributor for these premium brands of watches in Brunei.
Category 2 on the other hand, announced two lucky winners in every 6 months in parallel with the yearlong promotion. This was exclusively for RBA American Express® and American Express® Gold Cardmembers only, whereby Cardmembers got the chance to win exclusive top of the range Citizen Chronograph Men’s watch. Koh Ken Lu and Ong Ngai Ling happily brought home a Citizen Chronograph Men’s watch each when they were announced as the two lucky winners in this Category 2. Hjh Azamah bte DSLJ Hj Mohd Salleh, Director of Gold Mercury Sdn Bhd graciously presented the watches to the lucky winners
at the prize presentation ceremony held at the Gold Mercury Sdn Bhd outlet at Jaya Hypermart, Centrepoint today.
