BAIDURI BANK GROUP HOSTS ANNUAL DINNER WITH "OLYMPICS" THEME |

Bandar Seri Begawan – On 19 January 2008, The Empire Theatre at The Empire Hotel and Country Club played host to Baiduri Bank’s Staff Annual Dinner 2008. The Annual Dinner was attended by Baiduri Bank Group management and personnel. The theme of the dinner was “The Baiduri Olympics 2008”, organised by the bank’s Personnel and Finance department together with Baiduri Bank Recreation Club.
The evening began with a spectacular Hakka performance by staff members followed by a speech by General Manager of Baiduri Bank. Mr Imhof said, “The objective of our annual dinner is to underline the value of the work the staff does and the importance of this dinner in the Corporate calendar. It is a credit to all those involved in the running of the bank. I would like to thank all the staff for their teamwork and dedication which resulted in Baiduri Bank winning the Bank of the Year Award 2007 for Brunei.”
The programme of the evening consisted of lucky draws, staff performances and presentation of awards. A number of awards were presented to recognise performances of Baiduri Bank Group staff in various areas such as Best Branch, Service Excellence, Long Service, Retirement, Employee’s Choice of Most Valuable Player (MVP) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training.
The highlight of the evening were the staff performances in which 4 groups participated to claim the first prize of BND1000.00. Baiduri Finance emerged as the champion with their performance aptly named Unsung Hero.
28 recipients were called upon to receive their Long Service Award from Hj Haliluddin Dato Hj Talib, General Manager of Baiduri Finance and Mr Andrew Young, Deputy General Manager of Operations. Among the recipients were 9 staff members who celebrated their 5th year with the bank and 19 staff members who celebrated their 10th year with the bank. 1 staff member received his Retirement Award from Mr Imhof.
Mr Raymond Bariou, Senior Deputy General Manager of Baiduri Bank presented the awards for Employee’s Choice of Most Valuable Player (MVP) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training. Mr Ti Eng Hui, Deputy General Manager of Retail Banking and Network presented the awards for Best Branch and Service Excellence. |
