| THE LAUNCHING OF PENANG HAWKER FOOD FESTIVAL |

Royal Brunei Catering (RBC) has specially invited two chefs from Penang, Malaysia to present the top picks for the Penang Hawker Food Festival from 23 November till 6 December 2009. The food festival showcase included Nasi Kandar, Laksa Char Koay Teow, Nyonya dishes, desserts & kuih, Rojak, Pasembur, Eurasian Food, Asam Laksa, to name a few.
The food festival was officially launched by the Permanent Secretary I at Ministry of Defence, YM Dato Paduka Awang Haji Mustappa bin Haji Sirat. The ceremony was witnessed by His Excellency Dato' Ku Jaafar Ku Shaari, The High Commissioner of Malaysia to Brunei Darussalam.
Invited guests included senior government officials, representatives from the promotion co-business partners including Tourism Malaysia, Baiduri Bank, Gropoint Sdn Bhd and Cityneon Displays & Construction Sdn Bhd and RBC board and management members.
RBC conveyed its gratitude to The High Commission of Malaysia and all the co-business partners for their great support in this food promotion.
The dine-in customers for this food promotion are entitled to stand a chance to win packages to Penang and Langkawi by Tourism Malaysia.
There are Teh Tarik demonstration and Caricature by Tourism Malaysia for this promotion.

The Daily Buffet Lunch served from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm at B$20.50 for adult and B$13.50 for child.
