MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (Mou) SIGNING CEREMONY BETWEEN THE EMPLOYEES TRUST FUND (TAP) WITH BAIDURI BANK

Wednesday, 27th January 2010 - In an effort to increase TAP’s service quality to the public especially employers, and to strengthen work relation between the two parties, the Employees Trust Fund (TAP) and Baiduri Bank today held a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Signing Ceremony for TAP contribution payment through the bank.

The event was held at one of the most prestigious hotels in Gadong and attended by Permanent Secretaries, TAP Board Members and officers from the Employees Trust Fund, Baiduri Bank and Heads of business organisations.
 
 
Attending as the Guest of Honour was Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Dewa Major General (Rtd) Dato Seri Pahlawan Awang Haji Mohammad bin Haji Daud, Minister of Energy at the Prime Minister’s Office as Chairman of the TAP Board.

For this signing ceremony, TAP was represented by the Acting Managing Director, Yang Mulia Awang Haji Mohd Don bin Haji Abdul Hamid and from Baiduri Bank, was represented by Mr Andrew Young, Deputy General Manager, Operations Management Division while the Guest of Honour and Mr Pierre Imhof, General Manager of Baiduri Bank signed as witnesses.

With this Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), employers can now pay their local employees contribution via any Baiduri Bank counters besides from TAP counters. They are required to fill in the Payment Slip and attach it with TAP02 form with their payment. Payment can be made by cash, cheque or account transfer which will be implemented early February.

Payment through Baiduri Bank can be made at all of its 12 branches throughout Brunei Darussalam, including two (2) operating daily until 10.00 pm which are the Supasave, Gadong and The Mall.
