Earth Hour is an initiative of the World Wild Life Fund for Nature (WWF) aimed at raising awareness of climate change, providing an opportunity for organizations and individuals to think about their daily power consumption and impacts on the environment as well as to consider ongoing changes to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions and improve their environmental performance.  

Baiduri Bank Group made a stand in the Earth Hour event today by switching off lighted signboards, unnecessary lighting, air-conditioning and appliances at almost all premises within the Baiduri Bank Group for an hour between 8.30pm and 9.30pm. Baiduri Finance switched off its spotlights and signboards within their premises in support of the event.

Baiduri Bank Group staff members also showed their support by switching off all unnecessary appliances, devices and gadgets at home that make use of electricity as a power source for an hour. The Group also extended an invitation to customers and members of the community through its website www.baiduri.com.
