An independent world study conducted by World Finance, a renowned global financial magazine, has again recognized Baiduri Bank Group as the “Best Banking Group in Brunei” at their 2011 World Finance Awards. This is the third time that Baiduri Bank has been selected for this award.

Mr Pierre Imhof, CEO and Mr Ti Eng Hui, Deputy General Manager, Retail Banking and Branch Network of Baiduri Bank received the award in the form of a crystal obelisk from Mr Hywel Jones, World Finance’s broadcast editor and formerly of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) at Baiduri Bank’s head office in Kiarong recently.
Following the award presentation, Mr Imhof was interviewed by Mr Jones on the challenges faced by Baiduri Bank and the Bank’s developments over the past year. Excerpts of the interview can be viewed on World Finance website, www.worldfinance.com and Baiduri Bank’s website www.baiduri.com.
This is the third international banking award received by Baiduri Bank this year. In March, the Bank was awarded “Company of the Decade 2001-2010 for Brunei” from World Finance while three weeks ago, at a glittering award ceremony held at the Intercontinental Hotel in London, The Banker magazine awarded Baiduri Bank the “Bank of the Year 2011” for Brunei for the eight time.
