Bandar Seri Begawan, 12th July 2011. As a local bank and one of the major partners of Asia Inc Forum, Baiduri Bank is renowned for its commitment to help in local community development, especially in nurturing Brunei SMEs. In its continuous endeavour to fulfil this objective, the Bank has once again supported Asia Inc in their third workshop, with the theme “Build your business capabilities to deliver, and delight customers”. It was held at Dewan Shahbandar, The Holiday Lodge, Jerudong.
The workshop started with a welcoming remark from the workshop facilitator Md Azam Md Jalil, Managing Director and Principal Consultant, ACTion Advisory. This was followed by discussion and review of the topics from first and second workshop which was held in Mutiara Ballroom, Radisson Hotel and Pelangi Hall, Panaga Club, Seria.
Comprising of 2 sessions, the first was a case study of Business to Business (B to B) and Business to Consumer (B to C) where they need to recap the vision, consider business model and see through the financial and customer perspective towards the business. Participants were also work-through a strategy map and balance scorecard (BSC) where they were taught how to use process perspective through innovation process, customer engagement, marketing and sales processes and fulfilment process.
This was followed by a networking lunch and a mentoring session with Yang Berhormat Hj Awg Ahmad Morshidi bin Pehin Orang Kaya Di-Gadong Seri Diraja Dato Laila Utama Hj Awg Abd Rahman, Managing Director, Ideal Multifeed Farm (Brunei) Sdn Bhd. The second session was a continuation of the work-through strategy map on learning and growth perspective. The workshop concluded with an overview of financial models, productivity and risk management and business continuity management.
A total of 24 participants registered for the workshop, many of whom were Baiduri Bank customers. |
