Bandar Seri Begawan, 1st June 2011. Baiduri Bank today hosted a visit for a group of 29 secondary school students and 2 teachers from Chung Hwa Middle School, Bandar Seri Begawan, at its head office in Kiarong Complex.
The visit started with a presentation of an overview of the history and milestones of Baiduri Bank from Norlinda Dee, Human Resource Training Officer. They were also briefed on Financial Planning, Internet Banking and how to start up a business by Baiduri Bank experts. During the briefing, students were given an opportunity to an interactive question-and-answer session where specific questions were addressed. The visit was concluded by a guided tour of the Bank’s premises. During the tour, the visitors were introduced to the functions and operations in Card Centre, and the Bank’s Kiarong Branch.
Baiduri Bank has been actively hosting such educational visits for students from local schools and institutions of higher learning. Through the visit, students will get a glimpse of banking operations, state-of-the-art system applications, financial products and services, as well as careers in the banking industry. This is in line with Baiduri Bank’s objective to support educational initiatives of schools and tertiary institutes in Brunei.
