Bandar Seri Begawan, 12th May 2011. Baiduri Bank has been major partner of AsiaInc Forum for Local Business Development Programme. As a local bank, Baiduri Bank is renowned for its commitment to help in local community development, especially in nurturing Brunei SMEs. In its continuous endeavour to fulfil this objective, the Bank has once again supported AsiaInc in their latest workshop program entitled “Build Your Business to the Next Level”.

The one day workshop, with the theme “Appreciate your current performance and decide where you want to go” was held at Mutiara Ballroom, Radisson Hotel.

The workshop started with a welcoming remark from Stuart Kemp, Executive Director of AsiaInc Forum, followed by an introductory message from the workshop facilitator, Md Azam Abd Jalil, Managing Director and Principal Consultant, ACTion Advisory.

Comprising of 2 sessions, the first was a presentation and discussion by the workshop leader. This was followed by a networking lunch and a conversation on the current state of SMEs and what opportunities lies ahead with Mr Pierre Imhof, General Manager, Baiduri Bank. The second session was an interactive discussion and case study on recognizing and overcoming barriers to business growth and the appreciation of business planning and business qualification.

A total of 26 participants registered for the workshop, many of whom are Baiduri Bank customers.
