|BAIDURI CAPITAL HOSTS SEMINAR TO HELP CUSTOMERS BALANCE GROWTH, INCOME AND RISK|

Bandar Seri Begawan, 10 March 2017. Baiduri Capital hosted it's second seminar for 2017 entitled "Income Solutions to Navigate Through the Volatile Market" with Phillip Capital Management. This is Baiduri Capital's first collaboration with Phillip Capital Management in investor education.
The seminar attempts to answer the question of how investors can position their portfolio to strike the right balance between growth, income and stability. The seminar was presented by two speakers, Martin Chong, Institutional Portfolio Director at Phillip Capital and Christopher Ao, Manager for Investment Solutions at Phillip Capital.
During his welcoming remarks, Pg Azaleen PD Hj Mustapha, Head of Retail Banking and Branch Network and Director of Baiduri Capital spoke on the current market conditions and challenges faced by investors. "In this current economic situation, it is vital for investors to diversify not only by product, but also by region, sector and even currency to have a balanced portfolio." He further elaborated "To help our customers in strategising their investments, we currently offer equities trading, bonds, ETFs, investment-linked insurance products and mutual funds. More will be added in the future."
Also present at the event was Peng Eng Soon, General Manager of Baiduri Capital as well as licensed Senior Financial Planners from Baiduri Capital.
The funds that were introduced during the seminar were the Phillip Income Fund and the Phillip Singapore Real Estate Income Fund. Customers who invest in either of the Phillip Capital Management unit trusts between now and 8 April 2017 will enjoy a discounted sales charge.
Baiduri Capital held a similar event at the Keoja Hotel, Kuala Belait last night for its customers based in Kuala Belait district.
