In light of the devastating news of the Japanese earthquake and subsequent Tsunami on 11 March 2011, Baiduri Bank is participating in Western Union’s shared value campaign.
Western Union will be offering a “No-Fee Transfer” initiative to take place from now until 17 April 2011. The initiative will allow consumers to send money transfers to friends and family in Japan affected by the devastation with no transfer fee*.
Western Union, with its worldwide presence, is also working together with its Agents in Japan to help facilitate the delivery of services in a fast, reliable and convenient manner during this time. Remittances will be vital in providing emergency support to family and friends in Japan.
At times like these, Baiduri Bank and Western Union along with many other Western Union(R) Service Providers and Agent from across the world have joined hands in extending their support to the citizens of Japan, helping them cope with the aftermath of this natural disaster.
