What is FAST?
FAST is a mobile payment service which operates by an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system through a registered mobile phone. Registration is free of charge.

How does FAST work?
  • Dial 2454247 on pre-registered mobile phone
  • Enter 6-digit PIN number
  • IVR guides caller to choice of transaction
  • Select transaction by entering corresponding number
  • Transaction is made, amount is debited from user’s account or credit card
  • A confirmation SMS is sent to the user’s mobile phone

  • No extra cost to user – existing mobile phone and SIM card can be used
What features are available on FAST?
  • Balance Enquiry
    Check your Baiduri Bank or Baiduri Finance account balance, or your Baiduri credit card available balance.
  • Mobile Top Up
    Buy prepaid recharge codes for Easi or B.mobile
  • Bill Payment
    Make payments to Baiduri Finance Hire Purchase, Baiduri credit cards, DST, B.Mobile, TelBru, DES electric bill and JKR water bill.
  • Top up prepaid Mastercard CashCard
    Add funds to your Mastercard Cashcard
  • Change PIN
    Change your 6-digit FAST PIN anytime
How much does this service cost?
Registration for this service is free of charge. However, your mobile phone service provider (DST or B.mobile) will charge you accordingly for the duration of the call (normal mobile operator to landline charges apply).

Is FAST safe and secure?
With FAST, the mobile phone is used as an authentication device for every transaction made, hence no more worries on security and repudiation.

How many accounts/cards can I use as a designated account for this service?
You can link ONE Baiduri account or a valid debit/credit card for this service.

Can I designate a Baiduri MasterCard CashCard as the designated account?
Yes, you can link a Baiduri MasterCard CashCard as your designated account for this service.

Can I transfer funds to other bank accounts?
FAST works by transferring funds from your designated account / credit card (specified in your application) to designated billing accounts; i.e. Baiduri hire purchase, Baiduri credit cards, DSTCom, B.mobile, TelBru. You will not be able to transfer funds to another bank account.

Can I perform credit card balance enquiry?
Yes, if you have linked a Baiduri credit card as your default designated account, you would be able to retrieve your available credit limit via the balance enquiry function. This function is not available for credit cards issued by other banks.

Can I make bill payments for credit cards issued by other banks?
If you have linked a Baiduri account as your designated account, you will then be able to make bill payment transactions for credit cards issued by Baiduri Bank. Payment for other banks’ credit cards is not available.

How long does it take for a transaction to take effect?
A transaction will be effected upon receipt of the transaction request. The experience would be similar to a transaction being carried out at an Automated Teller Machine (ATM).

Who can apply for FAST?

Applicants must be over 12 years old, with a locally-registered postpaid or prepaid mobile phone subscription from any mobile phone operator and have any of the following:
  • Baiduri Bank or Baiduri Finance account
  • Baiduri Credit or Debit card
  • Any bank’s VISA / MasterCard / American Express card
Applicants below 18 years of age will require an indemnity form to be signed by their parent or guardian.

How do I register for this service?
Registration is free and can be done:
  • online
  • at any Baiduri ATM – your Baiduri ATM card is required
  • at any Baiduri Bank branch
Should you wish to make bill payments with FAST, you will need to provide your billing account numbers when you register.


ACCESSING FAST


Is FAST available only during banking hours?
FAST is available 24 hours a day, from anywhere in Brunei as long as there is a mobile phone signal.

Can I access the service while I’m overseas (roaming)?
While your mobile phone is roaming, you can access the FAST service if your mobile phone number can be identified through the caller ID. Roaming charges by your mobile phone operator will apply.

Is there a toll-free number?
There is currently no toll-free number available for this service.

Will I ever hear a busy tone when I call the dial-in number?
The Bank has provided for sufficient capacity to handle mobile phone users calling into the FAST service. In the unlikely event that you do encounter a busy tone, please do try again at a later stage.


MOBILE PHONE RECHARGE CODES

How does the mobile top-up function work?
When you purchase a mobile phone top-up through FAST, the recharge code will be sent to you by SMS.

What if I buy a mobile top-up and never receive the recharge code?
FAST offers you the option to retrieve your last purchased recharge code. Simply login to FAST and press 23. If attempts to retrieve the recharge codes fail, please contact the E-Banking Centre at 2425644 for further assistance.

What if the recharge code received is invalid?
In the unlikely event that the recharge code received is invalid, please contact the E-Banking Centre at 2425644 for further assistance.


FAST PIN

How long should my PIN number be?
Your PIN is numeric and must be 6 digits in length.

What if I forget my PIN or my PIN is locked?
Your FAST service will be blocked after 3 unsuccessful login attempts. If you have forgotten your PIN or it is locked, please contact the E-Banking Centre at 2425644 or your nearest Baiduri Bank branch to have a new PIN issued. Please note that you may have to answer some security verification questions for such requests.
