Transitioning from a classroom to a bustling corporate environment, the biggest challenge I had to overcome during GAP is adapting to a fast-paced working environment. It has pushed me to step outside my comfort zone, to work in a team with diverse backgrounds, and help develop my leadership, decision making, problem solving, and communication skills.
During GAP, you are not only exposed to the working life but also able to learn from experts and get first-hand experience in managing corporate events. I highly recommend GAP for anyone who has the passion to learn and challenge themselves. As my Programme Lead said to me, 'The world is your oyster!' 1. What can I expect from this programme?
It is a 6-month intensive classroom and on-the-job learning programme where you will be rotated between different departments for banking exposure.
2. What happens after the programme? Will I be offered a permanent job?You may apply for available vacancies within the Bank Group after completing the programme.
3. I used to work part time at various companies and position. Can I still apply?
This programme is designed specifically for recent graduates with no prior work experience. You may, however, still apply, subject to our selection process.4. Do I get paid during the apprenticeship programme?

6. Do I get to choose which department I will be rotated to?The programme is designed for apprentices to gain a holistic working experience in banking through the identified key departments.
7. Am I obligated to complete the entire programme? What if I receive a full-time job offer from another company before the programme ends?There is no obligation to complete the 6-month programme but it is strongly encouraged. You will be required to serve notice as stipulated before leaving the programme.
