Required documents to open an account with Baiduri Invest

Prior to your appointment, it is best to prepare ahead with the required documents below.



REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

FOR BRUNEI CITIZEN

  • Valid Brunei identity card 

or


  • Identity Card Collection Receipt (that contains client’s photograph, full information, IC number, address, date of birth, place of birth)

or

  • Valid passport; and Latest Proof of Residential Address1

FOR ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCE (RBAF) OR ROYAL BRUNEI POLICE FORCE (RBPF)

  • Valid RBAF / RBPF Identity Card; and
  • Latest Proof of Residential Address1

or

  • Valid passport; and
  • Latest Proof of Residential Address1

FOR BRUNEI PERMANENT RESIDENT

  • Valid Identity Card or Identity Card Collection Receipt (that contains client’s photograph, full information, IC number, address, date of birth, place of birth); and
  • Passport or International Certificate of Identity (for stateless)

or

  • Passport or International Certificate of Identity (for stateless)
  • Latest Proof of Residential Address1

FOR FOREIGNERS

  • Valid Identity Card or Identity Card Collection Receipt (that contains client’s photograph, full information, IC number, address, date of birth, place of birth); and
  • Passport with valid pass (e.g. employment pass, student visa, dependant pass, diplomatic pass etc.)

1Proof of residential address can be in form of:
  • Utility bill not over three months old e.g., electricity, telephone, or water bill
  • Bank Statement, credit card statement or a letter of reference from his/her account from a recognized bank
  • Valid driving licence
  • Employment confirmation letter from employer.

With effect from 31 October 2023, the Business I-Banking service will be terminated and will be replaced by our new Baiduri b.Digital Business service. Business Banking and Corporate Banking customers are required to transition to b.Digital Business to continue performing internet banking transactions.

If you have not transitioned to b.Digital Business, please ensure that every existing user completes the b.Digital Business Amendment Form before 31 October 2023. You can find this form here. After completing the form, you may submit it directly to Baiduri Digital Hub, Ground Level, Baiduri Bank Headquarters.

After 31 October 2023, those who have not transitioned to b.Digital Business must submit the b.Digital Business Application Form and any additional supporting documents to Baiduri Digital Hub, Ground Level, Baiduri Bank Headquarters. Important notice: We have updated the Baiduri b.Digital Personal mobile app on 21 August 2023.

If you have not logged in to your mobile app lately, you will be required to update the app when you open it.

If you have updated the app but have forgotten what your User ID is, you can retrieve it via one of the following:
• Visit Digital Hub at ground level, Baiduri Bank Headquarters
• Visit your nearest Baiduri Bank branch
• Call our 24-hour Customer Helpline at 2449666

If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it through the Baiduri b.Digital Personal web platform through the “Forgot Password” feature.
