Organized by Baiduri Bank Group, with the support of their event partners QAF Eurokars Sdn Bhd, QAF Auto Sdn Bhd, QAF Brunei, Ben Foods (B) Sdn Bhd, RBA Golf Club Sdn Bhd, Panaga Golf Club and Brunei Press Sdn Bhd, the event will be held at the RBA Golf Club, Berakas over two weekends from 23rd to 25th April and from 30th April to 2nd May, while the tournament will be played at the new venue at Panaga Golf Club from 23rd to 25th April only.

To make the cut, the top 10 gross players each from Panaga GC and RBA GC will vie for the coveted Green Jacket.

Last year’s event also saw a record number of participants in any golf event in Brunei with more than 800 golfers.  This year, the organizers are anticipating the number of participants to reach 1,000.

Proceeds from The Baiduri Masters will be channeled to a number of local charities and welfare bodies that provide help and support for individuals with special needs.

This coming tournament is divided into three divisions: Men’s, Ladies’ and Juniors’. The Men’s division is further divided into Men’s Open and Senior Golfers categories. The Junior Golfers category is open to golfers aged 13 to 18 years.

Registration fee is BND120 for adults and BND60.00 for juniors.  The registration fee is inclusive of green fee, buffet breakfast and lunch.  Players may play more than once to improve their chances of winning.  They will enjoy a 10% discount on the registration fee on their second or subsequent rounds.  The best score of any round played will be taken.

The deadline for registration for the first weekend’s tournament is 20th April, while the closing date for the second weekend’s tournament is 27th April.
