Bandar Seri Begawan 13 June 2014 – In line with objectives to promote overall health and wellness, including financial health, Baiduri Bank today held a Ladies Health and Lifestyle event for its customers at Emperor’s Court restaurant in Hua Ho Manggis Mall. The event was appropriately themed, 'Live Life to the Fullest: A Ladies Lifestyle Event.'

Baiduri Bank collaborated with The Brunei Cancer Centre, Lilli's Lingerie and AIA Brunei to bring together a well-rounded seminar covering topics centred on women’s health. Topics covered included cancers affecting women and precautionary measures that may be taken, the importance of a properly fitted inner wear and an insurance savings plan from AIA especially catered for ladies that provides maternity and female cancer benefits.

Amongst the esteemed guest speakers for the event were Dr Winlove B. Suasin, M.D., Consultant Radiation Oncologist and Head of Department at The Brunei Cancer Centre, Dr Shamir Chandran, oncologist at The Brunei Cancer Centre, Lilli Yong, Entrepreneur and founder of Lilli’s Lingerie and Danny Yap, Director of Agencies for AIA Brunei.

In conjunction with the event, Baiduri Bank is giving a special offer to customers on the AIA Ladies Savings Plan. Customer who sign up for the plan with an annual premium of BND3,000 and above from 13 June 2014 till 31 July 2014 will be rewarded with an exclusive luxury ladies watch.

At the event, Siti Aminah Hj Abd Rahman, Bancassurance Manager at Baiduri Bank gave an overview of the benefits of AIA Ladies Savings Plan which has built-in guaranteed cash coupon payable every 3 years from the 6th policy year, an additional 10.5% for any unclaimed maternity benefits and provides coverage against most common female cancers. "Apart from this, everyone should be aware of a gap analysis, where one can compute their monthly cash flows and narrow the gap for the purpose of retirement planning or investment planning." said Siti.
