Bandar Seri Begawan, 8 August 2016. With the Rio 2016 Olympic Games already underway, the lucky Baiduri cardholder, Suriani binti Haji Tamit, flew off to the Brazilian capital, Rio de Janeiro, on a very special all-expense paid trip for two, courtesy of Visa, to catch the Rio 2016 games a few days ago. In July of this year, Baiduri Bank held a prize presentation for the lucky cardholder at Baiduri’s headquarters in Kiarong. The prize was presented by Pg Azaleen Pg Dato Hj Mustapha, Head of Retail Banking and Branch Network. The all-expenses five-day/four-night trip includes two return air-tickets from Brunei to Rio, tickets to watch the Opening Ceremony of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games and pre-selected events, accommodation at the Windsor Atlantica Hotel, a tour of Rio’s iconic landmark, a Visa prepaid card worth USD400 for use during the trip. Speaking on the days and weeks leading up to the special trip, Suriani said, “My husband and I are very blessed and excited to be given this wonderful opportunity to fly to Brazil and experience the Olympic Games. This is a very pleasant surprise for us! Thank you Visa and thank you Baiduri Bank for this once in a lifetime opportunity.” Pg Azaleen Pg Dato Hj Mustapha said, “We value the support and commitment from our loyal cardholders who appreciate the benefits and privileges that comes from carrying and using our Baiduri issued Visa cards.” He also added, “On behalf of the bank, we would like to congratulate Suriani and wish her a fun and exciting trip to Rio."
