    “Unlock rewards with the ultimate travel card” Terms and Conditions for Customers (“this Promotion”):

    1. Term

    1.1 This Promotion is valid from 5 September 2024 to 31 October 2024, both dates inclusive, or such other date(s) as may be determined by Baiduri Bank Sendirian Berhad (the “Bank”) at its discretion (the “Promotion Period”).

    1.2 Participation in this Promotion constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions (the “Terms”).

    2. Eligibility

    2.1 This Promotion is open to all new and existing Bank customers holding selected Baiduri Bank Visa Credit and Debit Cards (each an “Eligible Card”, collectively “Eligible Cards”) as follows (each an “Eligible Cardholder”, collectively “Eligible Cardholders”):

    • Royal Brunei Visa Infinite Credit Card by Baiduri Bank
    • Royal Brunei Visa Platinum Credit Card by Baiduri Bank
    • Royal Brunei Visa Platinum Debit Card by Baiduri Bank

    2.2 The card account must be valid, in good standing and conducted in a proper and satisfactory manner at all times, as determined by the Bank in its sole and absolute discretion. If the card is suspended or cancelled or terminated by the Bank or the cardholder for any reason, the cardholder will be disqualified from the Promotion (notwithstanding that the cardholder’s other cards may not have been suspended or cancelled or terminated).

    2.3 Employees of the Bank, Baiduri Finance Berhad, Baiduri Capital Sendirian Berhad and Royal Brunei Airlines are not eligible for this Promotion.

    3. Promotion Mechanics

    3.1 New Credit and Debit Card Sign-Up Offer

    3.1.1 Customers who apply for an Eligible Card during the Promotion Period will be entitled to the following offers:
    (a) 4-year annual fee waiver and 3,000 Royal Skies miles for Royal Brunei Visa Infinite Credit Card and Royal Brunei Visa Platinum Credit Card;
    (b) 4-year annual fee waiver and 1,000 Royal Skies miles for credit card balance transfers from other banks in Brunei Darussalam to a Royal Brunei Visa Infinite Credit Card or Royal Brunei Visa Platinum Credit Card; and
    (c) 4-year annual fee waiver for Royal Brunei Visa Platinum Debit Card.
    3.1.2 Eligible Cardholders must be a member of the Royal Skies Programme to earn Royal Skies miles.

    3.1.3 Royal Skies miles earned will be credited into the Eligible Cardholder’s Royal Skies
    membership account within three (3) weeks after the Promotion Period. The use of these miles is subject to the Royal Skies Programme terms and conditions available at www.flyRB.com.

    3.1.4 For balance transfers, Eligible Cardholders will benefit from an interest rate of one per cent (1%) per annum for a period of twelve (12) months from the date the transfer is approved. Any remaining balance after this period will revert to the standard interest rate of one and a half per cent (1.5%).

    3.1.5 Eligible Cardholders who cancel their Eligible Card within six (6) months of the application will not be eligible for the New Credit and Debit Card Sign-Up Offer and will be charged the annual fee.

    3.1.6 The New Credit and Debit Card Sign-Up Offer is applicable to both Principal and up to four (4) Supplementary Cardholders, provided that they are declared in the same application. It does not apply to standalone Supplementary Card applications.

    3.1.7 The New Royal Brunei Visa Credit and Debit Card Sign-Up Offer is only applicable to new-to-bank customers and new-to-card applicants only.

    3.2 Lucky Draw

    3.2.1 Eligible Cardholders who spend a minimum of BND 100 in a single transaction at local, overseas or online merchants using an Eligible Card during the Promotion Period will receive lucky draw chances as follows:

    3.2.2 Payments made through third party payment platforms are not eligible for this Offer.

    3.2.3 Thirty (30) Eligible Cardholders (the “Winners”) will be randomly selected each month on 4 October 2024 and 8 November 2024, or such other date(s) as the Bank may determine at its own discretion without prior notice.

    3.2.4 Winners will receive one of the following Prizes:

    3.2.5 Splitting or combining of bills are not allowed for this Promotion.

    3.2.6 No lucky draw forms are required; draw chances are automatically given to Eligible Cardholders.

    3.2.7 Draw chances accumulated from spending on a Supplementary Card will be reflected under the Principal Card account.

    3.2.8 The Bank reserves the right to draw reserve winners to replace any winner who is or may be subsequently found to be disqualified from the Draw.

    3.2.9 Winners of the Draw will be notified by phone call. Prizes must be collected by the Winner or by an authorised representative at a prize presentation ceremony, with the date to be confirmed at a later date. An authorised representative must present the original duly signed authorisation letter from the Winner and his/her original identity card during collection.

    3.2.10 The Bank reserves the right to substitute or replace the Prizes with an alternative prize or gift of similar value without prior notice.

    3.2.11 The Prizes or their alternatives are not transferable or exchangeable for cash, credit or any other prize or gift in full or in part.

    3.2.12 Any disputes in respect to the quality, condition, or performance of the Prizes or alternative prizes or gift is to be resolved directly with the relevant supplier(s).

    3.2.13 The Bank shall be entitled to use the names and pictures/photographs of the Winners for publicity materials; and may engage any Winners for publicity purposes without any compensation whatsoever and in such manner as the Bank sees fit.

    4. General

    4.1 This Promotion is governed by and subject to the Bank’s terms and conditions on the related products and any other documents forming the banking agreement.

    4.2 The Bank may, at any time and without prior notice or liability to any party, suspend or terminate this Promotion or vary any of the Terms of this Promotion.

    4.3 The Bank reserves the right to determine at its sole and absolute discretion on all matters arising out of or in connection with this Promotion. The Bank’s determination of all matters relating to this Promotion shall be final and conclusive and no correspondence will be entertained.

    4.4 Eligible Cardholders consent to the collection, use and disclosure of their personal data by/to the organisers, promoters or conductors of this Promotion and such other third parties for the purpose of this Promotion, in accordance with the Group Privacy Policy. Eligible Cardholders confirm that they have read and agree to be bound by the terms of the Group Privacy Policy, as may be amended, supplemented and/or substituted by the Bank from time to time, a copy of which can be found on www.baiduri.com.

    4.5 In the event of any discrepancy between the Terms and any promotional materials related to this Promotion, the Terms shall prevail.

    4.6 The Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Brunei Darussalam.

Important update
19 September 2023

We would like to inform you that with effect from 31 October 2023, Business i-Banking service will no longer be operational, and this will be replaced with our new Baiduri b.Digital Business service.

If your company has not transitioned to b.Digital Business, please ensure that every existing user provides the following by 8 October 2023 through the Business i-Banking Inbox:
  • User’s full name
  • User’s valid Identification Card (IC) or Passport
  • User’s mobile number
  • User's company assigned email address (General company email is not accepted e.g., [email protected])

Alternatively, you can complete the b.Digital Business Amendment Form and submit the form(s) directly to Baiduri Digital Hub, Ground Level, Baiduri Bank Headquarters.

Every user will receive a notification email at their registered email address, once they have been migrated and activated on the b.Digital Business service.

Companies who have not moved to b.Digital Business after 31 October 2023 can re-apply as a new subscriber to the b.Digital Business service. This will require additional documentations to be submitted as part of the application. Refer “Required Documents” here.

Important notice: Our Business i-Banking service will be deactivated soon. To ensure continued access and a smooth transition to the new Baiduri b.Digital Business, please provide your full name, IC, email address and mobile number via Business i-Banking Inbox. If we do not receive updated details from all authorised users, your company will not be migrated to the new platform and a fresh application will be required.
