    1. Term

    1.1 This Promotion is valid from 15 April 2024 to 31 May 2024, (both dates inclusive) or such other date(s) as may be determined by Baiduri Bank Sendirian Berhad (the “Bank”) at its absolute discretion (the “Promotion Period”).

    1.2 By participating in this Promotion, participants are deemed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”).

    2. Eligibility

    2.1 This Promotion is open to new and existing Bank customers holding selected Baiduri Bank Visa Credit and Debit Cards (each an “Eligible Card”, collectively “Eligible Cards”) as follows (each an “Eligible Cardholder”, collectively “Eligible Cardholders”):

    • Royal Brunei Visa Infinite Credit Card by Baiduri Bank
    • Royal Brunei Visa Platinum Credit Card by Baiduri Bank
    • Royal Brunei Visa Platinum Debit Card by Baiduri Bank

    2.2 The card account must be valid, in good standing and conducted in a proper and satisfactory manner at all times, as determined by the Bank in its sole and absolute discretion. If the card is suspended or cancelled or terminated by the Bank or the cardholder for any reason, the cardholder will be disqualified from the Promotion (notwithstanding that the cardholder’s other cards may not have been suspended or cancelled or terminated).

    2.3 Employees of the Bank, Baiduri Finance Berhad and Baiduri Capital Sendirian Berhad are not eligible for this Promotion.


    3. Promotion Mechanics

    3.1 New Credit and Debit Card Sign-Up Offer

    3.1.1 Customers who apply for an Eligible Card during the Promotion Period and existing holders of an Eligible Card who apply for a card upgrade or credit limit increase during the Promotion Period will be entitled to the following offers:

    (a) 4-year annual fee waiver for Royal Brunei Visa Credit and Debit Cards by Baiduri Bank; and
     
    (b) 3,000 Royal Skies miles for Royal Brunei Visa Infinite Credit Card and Royal Brunei Visa Platinum Credit Card only

    3.1.2 Eligible Cardholders must be a member of the Royal Skies Programme to earn Royal Skies miles. The Royal Skies miles earned will be credited into the Eligible Cardholder’s Royal Skies membership account within three (3) weeks of the Promotion Period. Once Royal Skies miles are credited into the Eligible Cardholder’s Royal Skies membership account, they are governed by the terms and conditions of the Royal Skies Programme. Redemption and use of the Royal Skies miles through the Royal Skies Programme are governed by the terms and conditions of the Royal Skies Programme. The latest Royal Skies Programme terms and conditions are available on www.flyRB.com.

    3.1.3 Eligible Cardholders who successfully apply for a credit card balance transfer from other banks as part of their Baiduri Bank credit card application during the Promotion Period will be entitled to the interest rate of one per cent (1%) per annum for a period of twelve (12) months from the date the balance transfer is approved, after which any remaining amount from the balance transfer will revert to the standard interest rate.

    3.1.4 Eligible Cardholders who cancel their Eligible Card within six (6) months of the card application will not be entitled to the New Credit and Debit Card Sign-Up Offer and will be charged for the annual fee.

    3.1.5 This New Credit and Debit Card Sign-Up Offer is applicable to the Principal Cardholder and up to four (4) Supplementary Cardholders, provided that they are in the same application. This Offer is not applicable to standalone Supplementary Card applications.

    3.2 Lucky Draw

    3.2.1 Eligible Cardholders must spend a minimum of BND100 in a single transaction at local merchants or overseas merchants on an Eligible Card during the Promotion Period to be eligible for the following draw chances:

    3.2.2 Spending at online merchants are not eligible for the lucky draw.
     
    3.2.3 Baiduri merchants can be identified by payment acceptance decals displayed at their Point of Sale (POS) or within their premises.
     
    3.2.4 Three (3) Winners (individually, a “Winner” and collectively, “Winners”) will be chosen after the Promotion Period.
     
    3.2.5 The draw will be conducted using an electronic system on 7June 2024 (the “Draw Date”) or such other date(s) as the Bank may determine at its own discretion without prior notice.

    3.2.7 No splitting or combining of bills are allowed to be eligible for this Promotion.

    3.2.8 No lucky draw forms are required; chances are automatically given to Eligible Cardholders.
     
    3.2.9 Chances accumulated from spending on a Supplementary Card will be reflected under the Principal Card account.

    3.2.10 The Bank reserves the right to draw reserve winners to replace any winner who is or may be subsequently found to be disqualified from the Draw.

    3.2.11 Winners of the Draw will be notified by phone based on their registered phone number(s) in the Bank’s record. Prizes must be collected personally by the Winner or by an authorised representative. If collection is to be made by an authorised representative, he/she must present the original duly signed authorisation letter from the Winner and his/her original identity card at the point of collection.

    3.2.12 The Bank reserves the right to substitute or replace the Prizes with any alternate prize of gift of similar value without prior notice.

    3.2.13 The Prizes or alternative prize or gift are not transferable or exchangeable for cash, credit or any other prize or gift in full or in part and is not refundable or replaceable.

    3.2.14 The Bank makes no representation or warranty whatsoever in respect of the Prizes or alternative prize or gift, whether as to the quality or merchantability or fitness for purpose or performance or otherwise whatsoever. Any disputes in respect to the quality, condition or performance of the Prizes or alternative prizes or gift is to be resolved directly with the relevant supplier(s).

    3.2.15 The Bank shall be entitled to use the names, identification numbers and pictures/photographs of the Winners for publicity materials; and may engage any Winners for its publicity purposes without any compensation whatsoever and in such manner as the Bank determines.

    4. General
    4.1 Eligible Cardholders consent to the collection, use and disclosure of the Eligible Cardholder’s personal data by/to the organisers, promoters or conductors of this Promotion and such other third party for the purpose of this Promotion and the Eligible Cardholder confirms that they have read and agree to be bound by the terms of the Group Privacy Policy, as may be amended, supplemented and/or substituted by the Bank from time to time, a copy of which can be found on www.baiduri.com.

    4.2 This Promotion is governed by the Bank’s terms and conditions on the related products and any other documents forming the banking agreement.

    4.3 The Bank may, at any time and without prior notice or liability to any party, suspend or terminate this Promotion or vary any of the Terms of this Promotion.

    4.4 The Bank reserves the right to determine at its sole and absolute discretion on all matters arising out of or in connection with this Promotion. The Bank’s determination of all matters relating to this Promotion shall be final and conclusive and no correspondence will be entertained.

    4.5 The Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Brunei Darussalam.

19 September 2023

We would like to inform you that with effect from 31 October 2023, Business i-Banking service will no longer be operational, and this will be replaced with our new Baiduri b.Digital Business service.

If your company has not transitioned to b.Digital Business, please ensure that every existing user provides the following by 8 October 2023 through the Business i-Banking Inbox:
  • User’s full name
  • User’s valid Identification Card (IC) or Passport
  • User’s mobile number
  • User's company assigned email address (General company email is not accepted e.g., [email protected])

Alternatively, you can complete the b.Digital Business Amendment Form and submit the form(s) directly to Baiduri Digital Hub, Ground Level, Baiduri Bank Headquarters.

Every user will receive a notification email at their registered email address, once they have been migrated and activated on the b.Digital Business service.

Companies who have not moved to b.Digital Business after 31 October 2023 can re-apply as a new subscriber to the b.Digital Business service. This will require additional documentations to be submitted as part of the application. Refer “Required Documents” here.

Important notice: Our Business i-Banking service will be deactivated soon. To ensure continued access and a smooth transition to the new Baiduri b.Digital Business, please provide your full name, IC, email address and mobile number via Business i-Banking Inbox. If we do not receive updated details from all authorised users, your company will not be migrated to the new platform and a fresh application will be required.
