    Planning an upgrade for your home (this “Promotion”) Terms and Conditions

    1. Promotion Period

    1.1 This Promotion is valid from 12 October 2023 to 9 December 2023, (both dates inclusive) or such other date(s) as may be determined by Baiduri Bank Sendirian Berhad (“the Bank”) at its discretion (the “Promotion Period”).

    2. Eligibility

    2.1. This Promotion is offered to all new and existing individual customers of the Bank who are applying for a Home Renovation Loan to renovate their existing home and fulfil the following criteria during the Promotion Period (“Eligible Applicants”):

    1. A minimum age of 21 years old as of the Promotion Period; and
    2. A Brunei citizen or Permanent Resident who have their salary or pension assigned to the Bank; and
    3. Applying for a Home Renovation Loan with the Bank to finance a new renovation on their home

    2.2 In order to qualify for the Promotion, the Home Renovation Loan must meet the minimum loan amount of BND5,000.

    2.3 Elligible Applicants must maintain their salary assignment or pension with the Bank throughout the duration of the Home Renovation Loan.

    2.4 Employees of the Bank, Baiduri Finance Berhad and Baiduri Capital Sendirian Berhad are eligible for the Promotional Effective Interest Rate ("EIR") under this Promotion as stated in Table A below, however employees of the Bank, Baiduri Finance Berhad and Baiduri Capital Sendirian Berhad are excluded from participating in the lucky draw under this Promotion.

    2.5 The approval of the Home Renovation Loan is subject to full satisfaction of the Bank’s criteria including credit assessment and documentation requirements.

    3. The Promotion

    3.1 Eligible Applicants will be entitled to the Promotional EIR as detailed in Table A below;

    1EIR is floating and linked to the Base Lending Rate ("BLR"). For the avoidance of doubt, the BLR is currently at 5.5% and subject to changes at the Bank's discretion.

    4. Lucky Draw Mechanics

    4.1 Eligible Applicants must apply for a Home Renovation Loan via the Bank’s webform at the link (“Webform”) during the Promotion Period in order to participate in the Lucky Draw under this Promotion.

    4.2 Eligible Applicants whose Home Renovation Loan application via the Webform were successfully approved by the Bank during the Promotion Period will be entitled to the following lucky draw chances:

    4.3 Three (3) lucky draw winners (individually, a “Winner” and collectively, “Winners”) will be drawn randomly in a computerised draw at the end of the Promotion Period.

    5. Lucky Draw Prizes

    5.1 Winners will each win one of the following prizes (“Prizes”):

    5.2 The Bank will contact the Winners by phone call via the Winner’s registered phone number(s) in the Bank’s records within one (1) month after the end of the Promotion Period and provide information on how to collect the Prizes.

    5.3 If the Winners are unable to collect their Prizes, they must prepare an authorisation letter and specify the collector’s full name and identification card number.

    5.4 The Bank reserves the right to substitute or replace the Prizes with any alternative prize of similar value without prior notice.

    5.5 The Prizes or alternative prize are not transferable or exchangeable for cash, credit, goods and services, products or privileges or other kind in full or in part and is not refundable or replaceable.

    5.6 The Bank reserves the right to draw reserve winners to replace any Winner who is subsequently disqualified or whose Prize is forfeited for any reason whatsoever.

    5.7 The Bank shall be entitled to use the names, identification numbers and pictures/photographs of the winners for publicity materials; and may engage any winners for its publicity purposes without any compensation whatsoever and in such manner as the Bank determines.

    6. General

    6.1 This Promotion is governed by the Bank’s terms and conditions on the related products and any other documents forming the banking agreement.

    6.2 The Bank may, at any time and without prior notice or liability to any party, suspend or terminate this Promotion or vary these terms and conditions.

    6.3 This Promotion is not valid with other offers, privileges or promotions unless stated otherwise.

    6.4 The Bank reserves the right to cancel, terminate or suspend this Promotion with three (3) days prior notice. For the avoidance of doubt, cancellation, termination or suspension of this Promotion by the Bank shall not entitle the Eligible Applicants to any claim or compensation against the Bank for any and all losses or damages suffered or incurred by the Eligible Applicants whether directly or indirectly as a result of the act of such cancellation, termination or suspension.

    6.5 The Bank reserves the right to determine at its sole and absolute discretion all matters arising out of or in connection with this Promotion. Its determination of all matters relating to this Promotion shall be final and conclusive and no correspondence will be entertained.

    6.6 By participating in this Promotion, the Eligible Applicants:

    • Agree to be bound by these terms and conditions;
    • Consent to their personal data being collected, processed, and used by the Bank in accordance with the Group Privacy Policy, which may be viewed at; and
    • Consent to their personal data being collected, processed, and used by the Bank for the purposes of this Promotion and for marketing and promotional activities conducted by the Bank.

    6.7 These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Brunei Darussalam.

We would like to inform you that with effect from 31 October 2023, Business i-Banking service will no longer be operational, and this will be replaced with our new Baiduri b.Digital Business service.

If your company has not transitioned to b.Digital Business, please ensure that every existing user provides the following by 8 October 2023 through the Business i-Banking Inbox:
  • User’s full name
  • User’s valid Identification Card (IC) or Passport
  • User’s mobile number
  • User's company assigned email address (General company email is not accepted e.g., [email protected])

Alternatively, you can complete the b.Digital Business Amendment Form and submit the form(s) directly to Baiduri Digital Hub, Ground Level, Baiduri Bank Headquarters.

Every user will receive a notification email at their registered email address, once they have been migrated and activated on the b.Digital Business service.

Companies who have not moved to b.Digital Business after 31 October 2023 can re-apply as a new subscriber to the b.Digital Business service. This will require additional documentations to be submitted as part of the application. Refer “Required Documents” here.

Important notice: Our Business i-Banking service will be deactivated soon. To ensure continued access and a smooth transition to the new Baiduri b.Digital Business, please provide your full name, IC, email address and mobile number via Business i-Banking Inbox. If we do not receive updated details from all authorised users, your company will not be migrated to the new platform and a fresh application will be required.
