Life Insurance Bundle
3.5 A life insurance plan application must be completed and approved with payment of premium made during the Promotion Period before the fixed deposit can be placed by Eligible Customers and entitled for the promotional interest rate.
3.6 Eligible Customers who choose the Life Insurance Bundle will require a minimum annual premium of BND10,000 (for the regular premium plans) or a minimum single premium of BND50,000 (for the single premium plans) with an equivalent amount of placement for the fixed deposit.
For example, Eligible Customers who sign up for a life insurance plan with an annual premium of BND15,000 must make an equivalent fixed deposit placement of BND15,000 to enjoy this Promotion.
3.7 The following life insurance plans offered by Baiduri Bank are eligible for this Promotion:
3.8 A life insurance sign up is deemed successful when an Eligible Customer is issued with a policy book by AIA or Great Eastern.
Fixed Deposit
3.9 To qualify for the offer under this Promotion, fixed deposit placement must be made with fresh funds only. Fresh funds refer to funds that are not originating from any existing account(s) held with Baiduri Bank (the “Bank”) or Baiduri Finance and funds that are not withdrawn and redeposited within the last 30 days from the first day of the Promotional Period.
3.10 In the event of premature upliftment or withdrawal of the fixed deposit, normal tariffs of the Bank will apply for such premature upliftment or withdrawal and any interest accrued will be forfeited. Please refer to the Bank’s General Tariffs here.
3.11 Upon maturity of the fixed deposit, it is the Bank’s normal practice to auto-renew the fixed deposit plus interest at the prevailing interest rates unless instructed otherwise by an Eligible Customer.
3.12 The promotional interest rate of 3.80% per annum for a 12-month fixed deposit is applicable during the Promotion Period only and is subject to change by the Bank at its sole discretion and without notice.
3.13 Eligible Customers may make multiple fixed deposit placements during the Promotion Period based on the bundling options.
4. General
4.1 This Promotion is governed by the Bank’s terms and conditions on the related products/investment/insurance plan and any other documents forming the agreement to transact.
4.2 The Bank may, at any time and without prior notice or liability to any party, suspend or terminate the offer under this Promotion or vary these terms and conditions.
4.3 The Bank reserves the right to determine at its sole and absolute discretion all matters arising out of or in connection with this Promotion. Its determination of all matters relating to this Promotion shall be final and conclusive and no correspondence will be entertained.
