What is the Baiduri Mobile Banking App?

Baiduri Mobile Banking App is a companion to your Personal i-Banking. It allows you to perform your banking transactions online via your smart phone or mobile phone. With the Baiduri Mobile Banking App, you can manage your finances 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from the comfort of your home, office, or virtually anywhere in the world.

What do I need to access the Baiduri Mobile Banking App?

The minimum requirement to download the Baiduri Mobile Banking App is iOS version 7 and Android version 2.3.7 Ginger Bread (API Level 10).

Alternatively, you can access the Personal i-Banking service through the web at m.baiduri.com.bn. You will need Internet access with an internet browser for mobile.

Is the Baiduri Mobile Banking App secure?

With our Dual Factor Authentication with mobile phone and/or token, feel secure when you login with a User ID and Password, and perform transactions for fund transfers (local and abroad), MasterCard CashCard top-up and Prepaid Card Purchases. You will be notified via SMS once you have successfully logged in.

As the Baiduri Mobile Banking App is part of Baiduri Personal i-Banking, it operates on the industry standard 128-bit SSL encryption to protect your confidential data. An automatic timeout feature will also ensure that you are logged out when your account is idle.

What if I do not own a smartphone that has the required operating system, will I be able to use the Baiduri Mobile Banking App?

You can still access the Personal i-Banking service on your phone’s internet browser by visiting m.baiduri.com.bn.

Who can use the Baiduri Mobile Banking App?

Anyone with a smart phone that meets the minimum operating system requirements can use the Baiduri Mobile Banking App. But to enjoy the convenience of the Baiduri Personal i-Banking service via the Baiduri Mobile Banking App, you need to be at least 15 years old and maintain one or more of the following accounts with Baiduri Bank Group (Terms & Conditions apply)

  • Baiduri Bank Passbook Savings Account
  • Baiduri Bank Statement Savings Account
  • Baiduri Bank Current Account
  • Baiduri Bank 1-Account
  • Baiduri Finance Multi-Tier Savings Account Baiduri Finance Multi-Rate Savings Account
  • Baiduri Credit Cardholder (for viewing of online credit card statements only - must be 18 years above to apply with a Baiduri Credit Card)
  • Baiduri MasterCard CashCard (for viewing of online CashCard statements only)

* Applicants below 18 years of age will require an indemnity agreement to be signed by their parent or guardian.

How do I register for the Baiduri Mobile Banking App?

You can register for the Baiduri Personal i-Banking service at E-Banking Centre or at any Baiduri Bank branch. You can also download the form online. Once you have successfully registered for the service, you can download the Baiduri Mobile Banking App. Please contact our E-Banking Centre at 2425644 or email ebanking@baiduri.com for further assistance.

How soon can I start using the Baiduri Mobile Banking App?

After successful registration, you will be issued a User ID and password. You can start banking online via Personal i-Banking and the Baiduri Mobile Banking App after you have received a notification via SMS from the Bank informing that your access to Baiduri i-Banking has been activated.

You need to download the Baiduri Mobile Banking App before you are able to start banking via Baiduri Mobile Banking App. The Baiduri Mobile Banking App can be downloaded through the App Store for iOS users and Google Play for Android users.

I am an existing Personal i-banking customer already. Do I need to register again for the Baiduri Mobile i-Banking App?

No, you do not need to register again. You can automatically access the Baiduri Mobile Banking App after you have downloaded the app or you can access the Personal i-Banking service via the web at m.baiduri.com.bn through your phone.

How do I log into Baiduri Mobile Banking App for the first time?

  1. Tap on the Baiduri Mobile Banking App (for Android and iOs users) or visit m.baiduri.com.bn from your mobile phone.
  2. Tap "Login For Internet Banking".
  3. Enter your Login ID and Password as issued by the bank. Select mobile or token authentication. Press login.
  4. a) For mobile authentication:
    • The One Time PIN (OTP) will be shown on the next page
    • Your mobile phone will ring shortly and register a call from the bank at 226 9000
    • On your mobile phone, key in the OTP shown on the i-Banking Screen.
    b) For token authentication:
    • Enter the One Time PIN generated from the token in the field provided on the next page
  5. Upon successful mobile or token authentication, the Terms & Conditions page will appear on the next page.
  6. Tap on "I agree" to accept the Terms & Conditions.
  7. The Terms & Conditions page will only appear once after the first successful login and will only reappear after updates of the mobile app.

Can I access information on all my accounts with the Baiduri Mobile Banking App?

You can access all accounts registered under your name and also your joint account(s) provided the joint account is operated on a single signing authority basis i.e. where the account mandate states "EITHER ONE TO SIGN" or "ANY ONE TO SIGN". You can also link and view your Hire Purchase accounts and credit card accounts with Baiduri Personal i-Banking via your Baiduri Mobile Banking App.

Can I link an international mobile phone number to access the Baiduri Mobile Banking App?

No, only locally registered mobile phone numbers can be used.

What if I encounter "Your mobile phone authentication is unsuccessful"?

This can be caused by poor network coverage or entering the wrong PIN. If problem persists after several attempts, please contact our E-Banking Centre at 2425644 or email ebanking@baiduri.com for further assistance.

Can I use the Baiduri Mobile Banking App while I am overseas?

Yes, you can. Roaming charges by your mobile phone operator will apply for mobile phone authentication. Alternatively, you may request for a token from Baiduri Bank if you are travelling overseas frequently.

What should I do if my Token is lost, damaged or stolen?

Please visit your nearest Baiduri Bank branch to report lost, damaged or stolen token. Replacement charges will apply.

Usage

Will I be charged for making Fund Transfers?

Fund Transfers within Baiduri Bank are free. However, tariff charges are applicable for Fund Transfers to other local banks and abroad.

Will I be charged for making a bill payment?

Any bill payments made are free.

Is there cut-off time for Fund Transfers and Bill Payment submitted via the Baiduri Mobile Banking App?

There is a cut-off time at 11:00 am for transfers to other local and overseas banks. Transactions received from 3:30pm on Friday to Sunday and public holidays will be processed the next working day. Baiduri Bank's Terms and Conditions apply.

How can I be sure that my transaction has gone through?

Once you confirm the transaction, your transaction will be logged. When you log out, a list of all successful activities and transactions performed will be displayed on your transaction summary.

Additionally, you will be notified via SMS for transactions you made for Fund Transfers, Bill Payments, MasterCard CashCard top-up and Prepaid Card Purchases.

Can I disable the SMS notification for every successful transaction for Fund Transfers, Bill Payments, MasterCard CashCard Top Up and Prepaid Card Purchases?

Yes you can do so under the User Administration Menu in Personal i-Banking on our website or through your phone at m.baiduri.com.bn. Alternatively, you can also set a cut-off amount, whereby you will not be sent SMS notification for transactions below the amount.

What should I do if I forgot my User ID?

Please visit your nearest Baiduri Bank Branch or call E-Banking Centre at 242 5644 for assistance.

What should I do if I forgot my password?

You can reset your password online through Personal I-Banking on our website or through your phone at m.baiduri.com.bn. Alternatively you can call E-Banking Centre at 242 5644 or email ebanking@baiduri.com for further assistance.

What should I do if I have forgotten both my User ID and Password?

Please contact our E-Banking Centre at 242 5644 or email ebanking@baiduri.com for further assistance. Alternatively, you can visit your nearest Baiduri Bank Branch.

Why do I sometimes experience slow response while trying to access the Baiduri Mobile Banking App service?

The slow response could be due to the following:

  • You are not using the recommended hardware or browser software
  • Technical problems with the Internet Service Provider, Local Area Network or our system
