From 1 March 2018, you will start receiving your Baiduri Bank account statements in electronic form through email.

We will cease sending out all account statements by post from 1 May 2018.

Why should I go paperless?

eStatements are:
  • Secured - Your eStatements will be password-protected and sent directly to your email inbox.
  • Convenient - Say goodbye to the hassle of filing and organizing your paper statements. Just download to save them or you can easily retrieve them from your email inbox or Personal i-Banking account.
  • Environmentally friendly - save paper, save trees and help conserve the environment!

Do I have to pay for the eStatement service?

No. This is a free service.

In what format will I receive my eStatement? Will it be password protected?

You will receive a PDF file that is password protected with your date of birth (DDMMYY). You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader version 7.0 or above as an older version may not support the file format.

Will I still be receiving my paper statements by mail?

No, we will stop sending out paper statements from May 2018 onwards. However, you could still request for statement printouts at a Baiduri Bank branch with the following charges applied:

Current to 1 year BND5 per statement cycle
1 year to 2 years BND10 per statement cycle
2 years to 5 years BND20 per statement cycle
More than 5 years BND30 per statement cycle

Which accounts will receive eStatements?

Savings and Current Accounts with Baiduri Bank under personal names will receive eStatements only.

For joint accounts, will each joint accountholder receive their own joint account eStatement?

Yes, an eStatement will be sent to each joint accountholder's registered email address.

I did not receive my account's eStatement via email. What happened?

  • Your eStatement may have been marked as "spam/junk" by your e-mail provider. Simply check your email spam/junk mail to retrieve your eStatement.
  • You may have updated your email address or the registered e-mail address could be outdated or incorrect. Call our 24-hour Customer Helpline at 2449 666 to resolve this matter.

Terms & Conditions:

  • eStatements will be sent by email to an accountholder's registered email address.
  • Accountholders will no longer be receiving paper statements from May 2018 onwards.
  • Paper statements may be requested at a Baiduri Bank branch but will be subject to fee for retrieval of statement as indicated in the Bank's General Tariffs.
  • The Bank reserves the right to reject any requests for paper statements.
  • Accountholders are responsible to ensure that the Bank has their updated email addresses at all times.
  • The Bank shall not be liable in any manner for any disruption, communication, electrical or network failure that may result in the eStatement being incomplete, unavailable or delayed in transmission.
