Baiduri Bank, in collaboration with Darussalam Enterprise (DARe), under the Brunei Economic Development Board (BEDB), recently held a session aimed at helping businesses improve their cash flow management. The event, which took place at the Baiduri Enterprise Hub, highlighted Baiduri’s SME Account Receivables Financing product—a financial solution specifically designed to help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) unlock working capital tied up in eligible unpaid invoices.
The session was led by Pengiran Haji Aziz bin Pengiran Haji Aji, Senior Officer from Business Banking, who explained how to use Baiduri SME Account Receivables Financing to improve cash flow for SMEs. He demonstrated how the product enables businesses to convert outstanding invoices into immediate cash, helping them bridge payment gaps, manage operational expenses, and reinvest in growth initiatives. Pengiran Haji Aziz also outlined the steps for applying for the financing, the eligibility criteria, and best practices for using the product effectively to maintain healthy cash flow.
Attendees were provided with real-life examples of SMEs that have successfully utilised Baiduri’s SME Account Receivables Financing to mitigate the impact of delayed payments from clients, ensuring continued smooth operations. By leveraging this product, businesses can also offer more flexible payment terms to their customers, enhancing competitiveness while maintaining financial stability.
