Established in 1994, Baiduri Bank is a member of Baiduri Bank Group, one of the largest providers of financial products and services in Brunei Darussalam.


Baiduri Finance, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Baiduri Bank came into existence in 1996 and is now the country's leading automobile finance company. Baiduri Capital, another wholly-owned subsidiary started operations in June 2015 offering securities trading services via their online trading platform. It now allows access to international stock markets comprising SGX, HKEx, BURSA Malaysia, China A-shares as well as the NASDAQ, NYSE and NYSE MKT LLC (AMEX).

Multiple Service Delivery Channels

Baiduri Bank’s branch network consists of 11 branches, a finance arm with two branches and 35 ATM locations, making it readily accessible to customers. The Bank also offers an enhanced internet banking service with two versions for business and personal use. Baiduri b.Digital Personal is also available in mobile app version.


The Bank’s shareholders are Baiduri Holdings and Darussalam Assets.

Leadership and Innovation

Renowned for its strength, commitment and innovation in the Brunei market, Baiduri Bank has many ‘firsts’ to its name. Among some of the firsts are:

  1. The first to offer in-store and in-mall banking seven days a week.
  2. The first to launch the internationally accepted Visa electron debit card, Mastercard electronic CashCard and Visa payWave.
  3. The first to receive PCI-DSS Certification for card payment systems and processes.
  4. The first and only bank to provide money remittance facilities under the Western Union Agency.
  5. The first and only bank to introduce multi-currency ATM dispensing Euros, US dollars, Singapore dollars and Brunei dollars.
  6. The first bank to offer online securities trading through its subsidiary, Baiduri Capital.

International Operating Standards

Baiduri Bank’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Baiduri Finance is also certified to ISO9001:2015 standard, the seal of quality management system.  To date, Baiduri Finance remains the only finance company in Brunei to have achieved this internationally recognized certification.

As good corporate citizens, the Baiduri Bank Group is committed to helping community development. Among others, the Group regularly provides financial support for organisations that help the differently-abled individuals in the country. The annual Baiduri Masters charity golf tournament is one such fundraising initiative in support of these organisations. Also included in Baiduri Bank Group’s CSR calendar is a Local Business Development programme in partnership with Asia Inc Forum which aims to nurture Bruneian MSMEs, a series of skills training workshops for local entrepreneurs known as the Baiduri SME Empowerment Series in partnership with DARe and a Ramadhan community programme - Let’s Give Back This Ramadhan, aimed at providing relief for underprivileged families in the country.
