Baiduri Bank held its Core Values Recognition event yesterday afternoon at the Baiduri Community Space, Baiduri Bank Headquarters.

Attended by over 80 employees across Baiduri Bank Group, the event celebrated those who consistently exemplify the Bank's core values, reflecting the Bank’s dedication to excellence, both within the organisation and in its service to its customers and community.

Over the past two years, Baiduri Bank Group has focused on embedding its core values - Enterprising, Empathy, Inclusivity, and Trustworthiness - into its culture. This focus has aligned employees with the Group's mission to enrich, empower and engage the communities in a responsible and sustainable way.

To reinforce these values, Baiduri Bank Group has introduced initiatives like Kudos Cards and the Core Values Recognition Scheme, recognising the crucial role these core values play in organisational success and employee engagement. A Core Values Deck was also introduced, providing a framework that defines desired behaviors for all employees. Complementing this, a comprehensive training programme on culture and core values has been seamlessly incorporated into the onboarding process for all new hires. The Bank's dedication to fortifying these values extends into its Human Resources processes, influencing aspects like recruitment and professional development. These programmes have been pivotal in integrating the core values into Baiduri Bank Group's ethos.

The event recognised and awarded over 90 employees across the Bank Group who exemplified the desired behaviours and the organisation’s Core Values. These recognitions demonstrate the Bank’s dedication to building a positive, inclusive work culture, enhancing customer experience and community support.

Ti Eng Hui, CEO of Baiduri Bank, in his opening remarks stated, “Our core values are integral to our operations and decision-making, guiding how we serve our customers and contribute to the community. They unify and guide our actions."

The event is a testament to Baiduri Bank Group's ongoing efforts to foster a values-driven workplace, benefiting its employees, customers, and the broader community.
