Bandar Seri Begawan, 20 May 2020 – In the final two events of the ‘Let’s Give Back This Ramadhan’ series, Baiduri Bank organised a handover of donations to a total of 20 underprivileged families in the Belait and Tutong districts.
The families were identified through the Department of Community Development (JAPEM), Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.
Both events were held in the afternoon at the respective district’s Baiduri Bank branch.
Presenting the donation to the recipients in the Belait district was Ms Ngo Yik Pei, Branch Manager for Baiduri Bank, Kuala Belait branch. Also present at the event was Muiz DP Hj Adnan, Senior Communications Officer.
Presenting the donation to the recipients in the Tutong district was Ms Sim Ai Hua, Branch Manager for Baiduri Bank, Tutong branch. Also present at the event was Muhd Kamarredzwan Kamarudin, Communications Officer.
“This month of Ramadhan is a time of reflection and giving back. We hope that our donation of shopping vouchers are able to provide some aid and relief to these families as well as some joy in celebrating the upcoming Hari Raya,” said Muiz DP Hj Adnan.
The ‘Let’s Give Back This Ramadhan’ series aims to provide relief for selected underprivileged families in the four districts by donating cash or shopping vouchers in preparation for Hari Raya. The first two events for the Temburong and Brunei Muara district were held yesterday.
