BAIDURI BANK EMPOWERS EDUCATORS THROUGH FINANCIAL WELLNESS WORKSHOP
15 September 2026

Baiduri Bank, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education (MOE), recently conducted a two-day financial wellness workshop titled "Empower Your Financial Journey" for teachers and Ministry of Education staff at Dewan Utama, Ministry of Education, Jalan Airport Lama.

Held on 15 and 16 September 2026, the workshop forms part of the Bank’s ongoing commitment to promoting financial wellness and helping individuals take greater control of their financial future.

The session brought together educators and staff from the Ministry of Education to explore various aspects of personal finance and financial planning, covering topics such as budgeting, saving, wealth accumulation, protection planning, and financing strategies for major life goals, including homeownership and personal financing needs, as well as investing.

Through interactive discussions, expert-led presentations by representatives from Baiduri Bank, and hands-on experiences with tools such as the Money Personality Quiz and Investment Personality Quiz, participants gained practical insights into their financial behaviours, built healthy money habits, and learned how to make informed decisions at different stages of their financial journey.

Speaking at the workshop, Siti Aminah Hj Abdul Rahman, Manager, Wealth Management, Retail Banking Division, Baiduri Bank, said:

"We believe financial wellness is an important foundation for overall wellbeing. Through initiatives such as 'Empower Your Financial Journey', we aim to equip individuals with the knowledge and confidence to make informed financial decisions and take meaningful steps towards achieving their financial goals. We are pleased to collaborate with the Ministry of Education in supporting educators on their financial wellness journey."

The workshop reflects the Bank’s broader commitment to enriching, empowering and engaging the communities it serves through financial education and awareness programmes.

By providing access to financial knowledge and practical guidance, the Bank continues to support individuals and families in building greater financial resilience and planning for a more secure future.
