Baiduri Bank Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for The Baiduri Masters at QAF Auto BMW Showroom.
The charity golf tournament will be held at Pantai Mentiri Golf Club over two weekends – 14 June to 16 June and 21 June to 23 June.
All the golfers’ registration fees for the tournament will go to five charitable organisations – the Child Development Centre (CDC), the Centre for Children with Special Needs (KACA), the Paraplegic and Physically Handicapped Association (PAPDA), the National Association for the Hearing-Impaired (OKP) and Learning Ladders Society (LLS). During the last edition of the tournament, BND65,000 was raised and donated.
QAF Brunei Sdn Bhd and Brunei Press Sdn Bhd signed on as event and media partners respectively.
This year is particularly special for Baiduri Bank as it celebrates its 30th anniversary, marking three decades of excellence, co-creation, and innovation. Reflecting on this milestone, the Baiduri Masters holds even greater significance as it embodies the Bank’s commitment to community development.
In his welcoming remarks during the partnership signing ceremony, Ti Eng Hui, Chief Executive Officer of Baiduri Bank said: “The Baiduri Masters is almost as young as the Bank itself, with the inaugural tournament teeing off in 1995. We are proud to say it has since grown into one of the largest CSR events in the country that Baiduri, our partners, sponsors, golfers and the public look forward to with great anticipation every year. For three decades, it has been a collaborative platform for companies and individuals to come together and participate in a worthy cause, co-creating a brighter future for these communities.
The event began with a signing of the MoU between Baiduri Bank and the event partner, QAF Brunei. Signing on behalf of Baiduri Bank were Ti Eng Hui, Chief Executive Officer of Baiduri Bank, and Hj Haliluddin DSP Talib, Managing Director of Baiduri Finance cum President of the Baiduri Masters 2024. Meanwhile, Albert Lau, Chief Executive Officer of QAF Brunei signed and Alisa Khoo, General Manager of QAF Auto signed on behalf of QAF Brunei.
The event then proceeded with a signing of the MoU between Baiduri Bank and the media partner, Brunei Press. Signing on behalf of Baiduri Bank were Ti Eng Hui, Chief Executive Officer of Baiduri Bank and Pg Azaleen bin Pg Dato Haji Mustapha, Deputy Chief Executive Officer cum Vice President of the Baiduri Masters 2024. Anafiah binti Omar, General Manager of Brunei Press and Suzie Houng, Senior Manager of Finance & Operations of Brunei Press also inked the MOU.
Participants will be vying for the Challenge Trophy, introduced last year to celebrate the 25th edition of the tournament, and the coveted Green Jacket. The hole-in-one prizes include a BMW 520i, MINI One and in celebration of the Bank’s 30th anniversary, two BND30,000 cash prizes.
Online registration for The Baiduri Masters will start on 22 May 2024 and offer a discounted rate of BND115 for Men’s, Ladies and Senior’s categories and BND60 for Junior’s category. Interested golfers can register online through the Maribali platform at
