A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Baiduri Bank and event partners for Baiduri Masters 2025 today at QAF Auto BMW Showroom.
This year marks the 27th edition of Baiduri Bank’s flagship golf tournament, which will be held at Pantai Mentiri Golf Club over two weekends – 1 August to 3 August 2025 and 8 August to 10 August 2025.
All proceeds from the tournament will be donated to five charitable organisations - Brunei Darussalam National Association of the Blind (BDNAB), Child Development Centre (CDC), Learning Ladders Society (LLS), La Vida Berhad and SMARTER Brunei. In 2024, the tournament attracted almost 650 golfers and successfully raised a total of BND64,000 for charity.
In his welcoming remarks, Ti Eng Hui, CEO of Baiduri Bank said “Over the past three decades, the Baiduri Masters has grown into one of Brunei’s most anticipated CSR events — a true reflection of the partnerships and purpose that drive us. Since its inception in 1995, this charity golf tournament has become a platform for sponsors, golfers, and the wider community to come together in support of those who need it most. Together, we are helping to shape a brighter future — one swing at a time.”
The event began with an MoU signing between Baiduri Bank and QAF Auto. Signing on behalf of Baiduri Bank were Ti Eng Hui, CEO of Baiduri Bank and Pg Azaleen Pg Dato Hj Mustapha, Deputy CEO cum President of the Baiduri Masters 2025. Signing on behalf of QAF Brunei was Albert Lau, CEO of QAF Brunei and signing as witness was Alisa Khoo, General Manager of QAF Auto.
The event then saw the signing of an MoU between Baiduri Bank and QAF Prestige. Signing on behalf of the Bank were Ti Eng Hui and Pg Azaleen Pg Dato Hj Mustapha. Albert Lau signed on behalf of QAF Brunei and signing as witness was Daniel Loo, Deputy General Manager of QAF Prestige.
A third and final MoU was signed between Baiduri Bank and Brunei Press. Signing on behalf of Baiduri Bank were Ti Eng Hui, and Pg Azaleen Pg Dato Hj Mustapha. Meanwhile, Albert Lau signed on behalf of QAF Brunei and Anafiah binti Omar, General Manager signed as witness on behalf of Brunei Press.
Participants will be competing for the both the Challenge Trophy, introduced during the 25th edition of the tournament, and the prestigious Green Jacket. Golfers will also be vying for the hole-in-one prizes which include three Electric Vehicles (EV) - BMW iX, Porsche Macan and MINI Aceman – and a BND20,000 cash prize.
Registration for the Baiduri Masters will start 5 July 2025, offering a flat rate of BND120 for Men’s, Ladies’ and Senior’s categories and BND60 for Junior category. Registrations made online through the Maribali platform at
www.maribali.com.bn will be at a discounted rate of BND115 for Men’s, Ladies’ and Senior’s categories. Registrations can also be made by submitting the registration form and making full payment at the registration counter of the Pantai Mentiri Golf Club.
