BAIDURI BANK GROUP MARKS FOURTH YEAR OF EMERGING LEADERS MENTORING PROGRAMME
27 May 2026

Baiduri Bank Group recently held its Emerging Leaders Milestone Event, marking the fourth year of its Emerging Leaders Mentoring Programme and reaffirming the Bank’s continued commitment to leadership development and talent growth.

Held at the Baiduri Community Space, the event brought together members of the Bank’s Management Committee, Heads of Departments, mentors and mentees to reflect on the programme’s progress over the past year, share learning experiences and welcome a new cohort of mentees for 2026.

This year’s programme adopts the theme “Growing with Purpose, Staying Balanced Through Change,” reflecting the importance of developing resilient, adaptable and purpose-driven leaders amidst an evolving business and banking landscape.

As the Bank continues its broader transformation journey, including ongoing digitalisation efforts and the renewal of its core banking systems, the mentoring programme plays an important role in preparing employees for future leadership opportunities. The programme also supports the development of future-ready capabilities in areas such as artificial intelligence and data driven insights.

The programme is designed to accelerate leadership readiness through practical exposure, cross-functional learning, mentorship and professional development opportunities. Over the past year, mentees participated in networking engagements, offsite learning sessions and experiential activities aimed at broadening perspectives beyond their day-to-day roles.

Delivering the opening remarks, Baiduri Bank CEO Ti Eng Hui highlighted the importance of developing leaders who are able to grow through change while remaining grounded and purpose-driven.

“Transformation is not only about systems and technology. It is also about people — how we adapt, support one another and continue to grow with resilience and purpose,” he said.

He also emphasised that leadership development remains a strategic priority for the Bank as it continues investing in its people and strengthening capabilities needed for the future.

The Emerging Leaders Mentoring Programme forms part of Baiduri Bank Group’s broader efforts to nurture a skilled, adaptive and future-ready workforce, aligned with the Bank’s long-term growth ambitions and ongoing transformation journey.
