Baiduri Bank, Brunei’s leading conventional bank, recently honoured a number of employees as part of its Long Service Awards Programme. The Long Service Awards was first introduced to recognise and fete employees who have contributed and served the company for more than five consecutive years.

During this year’s awards ceremony, which was spread over two days on 8 and 10 July, 86 employees were presented with their awards for serving five years and ten years, while 31 employees were presented with their fifteen, twenty and twenty-five years service awards as well as retirement awards at the Baiduri Community Space, Baiduri Bank Headquarters. Employees from Baiduri Finance, the Bank’s subsidiary, were also awarded in the ceremony.

Speaking during the awards ceremony, Mr. Ti Eng Hui, Chief Executive Officer of Baiduri Bank said, “Long service tenures portray a level of trust and commitment on the part of both employees as well as the Bank and reflect the employee’s loyalty to the Bank. We believe that our people are our strongest assets, and we will keep investing in their potential to take Baiduri to new heights.”

The Long Service Awards is testament to the Bank’s dedication to appreciate and continue to develop its human capital. This dedication was validated just last month, as the Bank reached another milestone and received the Gold Award for the ‘Most Innovative and Sustainable Office Design’ for its headquarters in the Employee Experience Awards 2021 by Human Resources Online, Singapore.

On top of the award, the Bank was also a finalist in two other categories in the Employee Experience Awards 2021 – Best Learning and Development Programme and Best Employee Wellness Strategy.

The pan-Asia Employee Experience Awards recognise and honour the role and commitment of Human Resources (HR) in workplace transformation and in providing a safe and encouraging work environment.

Baiduri Bank was established in 1994 with a team of just twelve employees. Over the course of twenty-seven years, Baiduri Bank Group now employs over 800 employees spread out over 11 branches, including two branches under Baiduri Finance – a head office in Sumbangsih Bahagia and a branch in Kuala Belait.

Important update
19 September 2023

We would like to inform you that with effect from 31 October 2023, Business i-Banking service will no longer be operational, and this will be replaced with our new Baiduri b.Digital Business service.

If your company has not transitioned to b.Digital Business, please ensure that every existing user provides the following by 8 October 2023 through the Business i-Banking Inbox:
  • User’s full name
  • User’s valid Identification Card (IC) or Passport
  • User’s mobile number
  • User's company assigned email address (General company email is not accepted e.g., [email protected])

Alternatively, you can complete the b.Digital Business Amendment Form and submit the form(s) directly to Baiduri Digital Hub, Ground Level, Baiduri Bank Headquarters.

Every user will receive a notification email at their registered email address, once they have been migrated and activated on the b.Digital Business service.

Companies who have not moved to b.Digital Business after 31 October 2023 can re-apply as a new subscriber to the b.Digital Business service. This will require additional documentations to be submitted as part of the application. Refer “Required Documents” here.

Important notice: Our Business i-Banking service will be deactivated soon. To ensure continued access and a smooth transition to the new Baiduri b.Digital Business, please provide your full name, IC, email address and mobile number via Business i-Banking Inbox. If we do not receive updated details from all authorised users, your company will not be migrated to the new platform and a fresh application will be required. For assistance, contact us at [email protected] or call 2268 637/8/9 during business hours. Thank you for your cooperation.

To strengthen our online security measures, effective 8 January 2024, we will introduce the cooling period feature on our Baiduri b.Digital Personal web and mobile app to prevent unauthorised access.
