In its efforts to further encourage their customers and investors to diversify their investment portfolios, Baiduri Bank has launched the “Broaden your financial horizons” promotion.
The promotion that began on 11 April and will run until 27 May 2022, allows eligible customers to earn 1.20% per annum interest rate for a 12-month fixed deposit with Baiduri Bank when investing an equivalent amount in unit trusts.
Customers who would like to take up the attractive fixed deposit offer will be required to invest in any of the unit trusts offered via Baiduri Bank and Baiduri Capital branches. The unit trusts are managed by major fund management companies including Allianz Global Investors, Blackrock, Franklin Templeton, Lion Global Investors, Manulife, Neuberger Berman, Phillip Capital and UOB Asset Management.
Mr. Lim Kian Chiong, Head of Retail Banking, Baiduri Bank, said that this promotion encourages investors to start thinking about how they can diversify their current portfolios and venture into other savings and investment products the Bank offers, depending on their respective risk profile, background, and life stage.
