BAIDURI BANK OPENS UP ADDITIONAL WAYS FOR CUSTOMERS TO DONATE TO THE COVID-19 RELIEF FUND
29 October 2021

Bandar Seri Begawan, 29 October 2021 – Continuing to support the Government’s efforts in raising funds to curb the spread of COVID-19 in the country, Baiduri Bank has introduced additional ways for its customers to donate to the COVID-19 Relief Fund.

From 30 October 2021, cardholders will be able to donate to the fund online using any local and overseas Visa, Mastercard and UnionPay cards through the Bank’s COVID-19 Help and Support page at:
https://www.baiduri.com.bn/covid-support-measures/donate-to-the-covid-19-relief-fund

With this added option, Baiduri Bank has provided its customers as well as members of the public, whether they are based in Brunei or overseas who have a debit or credit card, with even more convenient ways to donate to the fund and support the efforts to curb the spread of the pandemic.

On top of donating to the fund via cards, customers may also donate to the COVID-19 Relief Fund through these ways:

1) Via the Bill Payment function on Baiduri b.Digital Personal and Business i-Banking. Customers can easily find a step-by-step guide in the Bank’s website or on its social media page.

2) Via Baiduri Bank ATMs or Cash Deposit Machines. The account number for the COVID-19 Relief Fund under Baiduri Bank is 00-13-555-458395.

Speaking on this initiative, Mr. Ti Eng Hui, CEO of Baiduri Bank said: “At Baiduri Bank, we are committed to supporting national efforts in curbing the spread of COVID-19 and providing help to various community groups.”

“Since the pandemic has also encouraged more people to bank digitally and use their cards to pay for their purchases, we decided to make it even easier for them to donate to the relief fund using their credit or debit cards, whether they’re here in Brunei or overseas.”

“We truly believe that we can make a difference through the support and generosity of our customers and members of the public.”
