Baiduri Bank has been named Best Retail Bank in Brunei for 2025 for the third time at the Global Excellence In Retail Finance Awards 2025, by The Asian Banker. Held at The Westin, Tokyo, Japan, the award ceremony took place alongside the Japan Banking Innovation Conference 2025, bringing together leading financial institutions from across the region. Ti Eng Hui, Chief Executive Officer of Baiduri Bank, was present to receive the award on behalf of the Bank.
The Asian Banker recognised Baiduri Bank for its market leadership, innovation, and strong financial performance, highlighting its advancements in digital banking adoption, AI-driven risk management, and customer engagement. The Bank’s ongoing transition to a cloud-based core banking system aims to further improve operational efficiency. With 87% digital adoption, Baiduri Bank continues to expand its reach while leveraging AI-powered credit decisioning to enhance risk management and lending efficiency.
