Baiduri Bank has been awarded Third Place in the Most Engaged Category (Private Sector) at the BN On the Move (BNOTM) 2025 Championship, organised by the Ministry of Health Brunei Darussalam in collaboration with EVYD Technology. The recognition reflects the Bank’s continued commitment to fostering a healthy, engaged and sustainable workforce through holistic employee wellbeing initiatives.
This marks the second consecutive year that Baiduri Bank has participated in the nationwide wellness initiative and secured a Top 3 placement in the private sector category, reinforcing the Bank’s ongoing focus on employee wellbeing and workplace engagement.
A total of 457 employees took part in the five-month championship, collectively achieving more than 211 million steps through active participation and consistent engagement throughout the challenge.
The achievement also reflects the Bank’s continued investment in its Employee Wellness Initiative (EWI), which promotes wellbeing across physical, mental, financial and spiritual dimensions. Through initiatives such as BNOTM, the Bank continues to create opportunities for employees to adopt healthier lifestyles while fostering stronger collaboration and engagement across the organisation.
In line with the Bank’s long-term sustainability agenda, initiatives such as BNOTM support broader efforts to build a resilient and future-ready workforce while contributing towards Brunei Darussalam’s Wawasan 2035 aspirations of a healthy and sustainable nation.
To commemorate the achievement, Baiduri Bank recently held an internal appreciation and recognition session at its headquarters for selected employees who actively contributed to the Bank’s participation and engagement in the championship.
The session also recognised top-performing departments, the Top 3 male and female participants, and the Top 10 participants bank-wide, in addition to a lucky draw involving 60 employees. The recognition session served not only as a celebration of collective achievement, but also as an opportunity to strengthen camaraderie, encourage continued participation in future wellness initiatives, and reinforce the importance of wellbeing as part of the Bank’s workplace culture.
