Baiduri Bank Rewards Customers For Banking With The New Baiduri b.Digital Personal

Bandar Seri Begawan, 15 June 2020 – In conjunction with the launch of the brand-new Baiduri b.Digital Personal, Baiduri Bank is currently having a lucky draw campaign to reward customers who utilized the new platform.

The promotion called “b.Ready for What Life Has to Offer” comprises two rounds and aims to reward customers who perform their banking using either the Baiduri b.Digital Personal mobile app or web version.

The first round which ran from 9 March to 30 April 2020 saw three lucky customers win attractive new digital devices as prizes. At the Baiduri Bank e-Banking Centre in Kiarong on Thursday, 11 June 2020, Chai Su Jun brought home an Apple iPhone 11 Pro, while Joseph Anak Bugol won a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G phone and Siti Rabiatul Adawiyah binti Hj Matali won an iPad Pro 11-Inch Wi-Fi.

Customers still stand a chance to win prizes in the second round of the promotion which began on 1 May and will end on 30 June 2020.

To be eligible, customers only need to make transactions on Baiduri b.Digital Personal. Fund transfers, bill payments, phone top ups or POWERinstant top ups on the web version earn customers one chance each, while these same transactions made on the mobile app version would earn double the chances. In addition, new users who sign up for the Baiduri b.Digital Personal platform stand an even bigger chance to win by earning five chances.

Speaking on the new platform, Lim Kian Chiong, Head of Retail Banking, Baiduri Bank said: “Through Baiduri b.Digital, we hope to give customers a new level of experience. Customers will enjoy more convenience, greater mobility, faster and safe way to transact on their mobile phones, laptops or whatever device of their choice. In the process, they are empowered to decide how, where and when they want to conduct their banking needs.”

The ‘Let’s Give Back This Ramadhan’ series aims to provide relief for selected underprivileged families in the four districts by donating cash or shopping vouchers in preparation for Hari Raya. The first two events for the Temburong and Brunei Muara district were held yesterday.

Baiduri Bank unveiled the brand-new Baiduri b.Digital Personal platform in March as part of the Bank’s overall digital transformation and new digital offerings for customers. The app comes with an improved user interface (UI) that is optimized for one-handed use. In addition to the improved layout and features, the app also provides the option of biometric login through facial recognition or fingerprint for a faster and more seamless login process. There’s also an optional ‘Quick Balance’ feature which allows customers to view a specified account balance with a simple swipe without the need to log in.

Authenticating payments is easier through its ‘soft token’ feature on the mobile phone. This feature doesn’t require any network connection or physical token which makes authenticating transactions easier whether customers are at home or overseas.

An exciting new feature is the Lifestyle Offers section that carries ongoing promotions, and Baiduri card exclusives. In addition, the mobile app version has an e-coupon function where users can purchase and share e-coupons.

Customers will also have the added assurance that their credit card information is kept secure as the Baiduri b.Digital Personal platform is Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) compliant. This is the global data security standard recognised by payment card brands for entities that process, store or transmit cardholder data and/or sensitive authentication data.

19 September 2023

We would like to inform you that with effect from 31 October 2023, Business i-Banking service will no longer be operational, and this will be replaced with our new Baiduri b.Digital Business service.

If your company has not transitioned to b.Digital Business, please ensure that every existing user provides the following by 8 October 2023 through the Business i-Banking Inbox:
  • User’s full name
  • User’s valid Identification Card (IC) or Passport
  • User’s mobile number
  • User's company assigned email address (General company email is not accepted e.g., [email protected])

Alternatively, you can complete the b.Digital Business Amendment Form and submit the form(s) directly to Baiduri Digital Hub, Ground Level, Baiduri Bank Headquarters.

Every user will receive a notification email at their registered email address, once they have been migrated and activated on the b.Digital Business service.

Companies who have not moved to b.Digital Business after 31 October 2023 can re-apply as a new subscriber to the b.Digital Business service. This will require additional documentations to be submitted as part of the application. Refer “Required Documents” here.

Important notice: Our Business i-Banking service will be deactivated soon. To ensure continued access and a smooth transition to the new Baiduri b.Digital Business, please provide your full name, IC, email address and mobile number via Business i-Banking Inbox. If we do not receive updated details from all authorised users, your company will not be migrated to the new platform and a fresh application will be required. To strengthen our online security measures, effective 8 January 2024, we will introduce the cooling period feature on our Baiduri b.Digital Personal web and mobile app to prevent unauthorised access.
