As part of its commitment to supporting and engaging with the local MSME community, Baiduri Bank will once again be participating in the Brunei MSME Festival, taking place from 29 February to 3 March 2024, 10:00am to 9:00pm daily at Bridex Hall 1 & 2, Jerudong.
The Brunei MSME Festival is a platform to raise awareness of Bruneian products and services while promoting and celebrating entrepreneurship. This year, in addition to being present at the event, Baiduri Bank also sponsored several MSMEs to participate in the event as exhibitors, thereby providing them an opportunity to to accelerate their growth by taking advantage of the MSME Festival. These MSMEs include Alan’s Churros, Heritage Bakwa, Puteri Qaseh Enterprise, Taurean Bakeshop & Café, Arquilato Kusina, Si Manja Pet and Grooming Spa, Iman Putera, AVH ATV Rental Enterprise, Sence of Solace and Superfish Growers.
During the 4-day event, one-to-one business clinics will also be made available to those who register on
https://www.baiduri.com.bn/business/services/upcoming-events. Seats are limited and available on first-come, first-serve basis. These clinics are designed to provide a platform for business consultations on topics ranging from finances to management skills.
Isa Liew, Head of Business Banking at Baiduri Bank who will be leading the business clinic expressed, “Aside from showcasing a diverse range of products and services tailored to the needs of MSMEs, we also hope to help them diagnose their business health and co-create solutions to boost their competitiveness.”
Additionally, members from the Bank’s Business Banking team will be present at the event to offer support and provide resources to assist entrepreneurs in taking their businesses to the next level. From services to allow cashless payments such as the card payment terminals for brick-and-mortar businesses, to e-commerce solutions for online businesses and SME financing solutions for those looking to scale up, there is a range of options to suit MSMEs at different growth stages.
MSMEs can also take the opportunity to sign up as members of the Baiduri Enterprise Hub, a co-working space equipped with modern amenities such as audio-visual equipment, hot-desking, discussion rooms, free wi-fi and sound-proof pods. Membership also provides access to year-round networking events and upskilling programmes, held in partnership with the Bank’s ecosystem partners such as Darussalam Enterprise (DARe) and LiveWire.
