Bandar Seri Begawan, 11 November 2020 – Members of the public can look forward to two days of fun and activities at Baiduri Bank’s first roadshow held at its brand-new Headquarters at 1 Jalan Gadong on 13 and 14 November, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Themed around the Bank’s refreshed brand promise of “Co-creating your future”, the roadshow aims to gather the Bank’s various stakeholders, from customers, business partners and the Bruneian community in one place while also taking a unique approach towards promoting financial literacy and inclusion to the public.
The roadshow, open to members of the public, is free of charge and is also one of the Bank’s efforts to reach out to a wider audience through a more interactive platform, and to update them on the latest offerings from Baiduri Bank and its subsidiaries.
Throughout the two days, licensed financial planners will be on hand to offer financial health checks and recommendations based on each person’s financial aspirations. Members of the public who come for a consultation will be entitled to complementary refreshments, while those who sign up for a product will additionally be entitled to an instant dip, where they can win prizes such as dining vouchers and a grand prize of staying at a local luxury accommodation.
Mr Lim Kian Chiong, Head of Retail Banking at Baiduri Bank, explained that the roadshow is an opportunity for the Bank to showcase its recently refreshed brand to members of the public, and allow them to feel a new experience with the Bank.
He said: “The roadshow is designed in a way that allows us to engage everyone and understand their personal financial goals over an informal setting. It is also the Bank’s way of making financial planning and financial education more accessible to everyone in a more fun and interactive way.
“This way, we can work with them and help them achieve financial success, no matter what life stage they are in – whether they’re a fresh graduate looking to start their career, or a couple looking to finance their first house and start their own family.”
The roadshow will also have family-friendly games and activities such as tote bag designing, weaving demonstrations, cookie art decorations, as well as a mini zen garden workshop. In the spirit of co-creation, all these activities are organised in collaboration with various local businesses.
In line with the guidelines set out by the Ministry of Health, members of the public are also reminded to observe by the social distancing rules during the roadshow, and take their temperatures as well as scan their BruHealth codes prior to entering the building.
