In the spirit of fostering local entrepreneurship and community togetherness, Baiduri Bank is excited to announce the launch of "Baiduri Santai Sahur." The inaugural series of this event is set to take place on 16 March 2024 at Level 2 of the Multistorey Carpark and Baiduri South Lawn at Baiduri Bank Headquarters. "Baiduri Santai Sahur" will be a series of weekly Sahur events, scheduled every Saturday throughout the holy month of Ramadhan from 9.00 pm to 1.00 am.
Baiduri Santai Sahur” event is a unique opportunity to merge and celebrate the entrepreneurship spirit, sustainable values, and enabling digital business models, contributing to economic development and environmental sustainability. By offering local vendors a platform to showcase and sell their products, the event supports small businesses and encourages community growth.
A key feature of the event is its focus on sustainable practices, with a strict no-single-use plastics policy and encouragement for attendees to bring their own reusable containers. Waste sorting stations will be available to ensure responsible waste management. This commitment is part of a broader effort to promote environmental responsibility among the public and the business community. Furthermore, the event will promote cashless transactions, offering attendees who make meal purchases with a Baiduri debit or credit card or Qpay, the chance to win a BND10 voucher from participating vendors.

This year, “Baiduri Santai Sahur” is proud to collaborate with Saucysside Livecook and the Gang, enhancing the event's focus on sustainability by encouraging attendees to bring their own containers and reusable bags, in return for discounts from vendors. Their recycling efforts are bolstered by the partnership with Shaliz Waste Recycling Sdn Bhd, focusing on the recycling of used cooking oil and its export to Malaysia for further processing into valuable products.
The first event will be held tomorrow, 16 March. Future events are scheduled for 23 March, 30 March, and 6 April 2024, from 9.00 pm to 1.00am, at Level 2 Multistorey Carpark and Baiduri South Lawn, Baiduri Bank Headquarters.
