Forty-eight families from Brunei-Muara enjoyed an afternoon of shopping at Hua Ho Manggis and Hua Ho Yayasan and iftar in the evening during the final instalment of Baiduri Bank’s ‘Let’s Give Back This Ramadhan 9’.
The families were identified by returning strategic partner, the Council for the Welfare of Persons with Different Abilities (MKOKU).
Seasoned logistics partners, Indera Motors, collaborated with GHK Motors and Inchcape Brunei to provide transportation for the families, ensuring smooth coordination throughout.
Malai Didi @ Sharifah Adila Surya binti Malai Haji Abdullah, President of the MKOKU, said: “We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Baiduri Bank, Indera Motors, GHK Motors and Inchcape Brunei for all your support.”
“All the volunteers have demonstrated that they are inclusive, empathetic and compassionate, and it has truly made a difference for all the families involved. Raising and supporting individuals with disabilities comes with significant financial challenges, and this generosity throughout Ramadhan has eased burdens and brought joy to so many households.”
Ti Eng Hui, Chief Executive Officer at Baiduri Bank, said: “I’m incredibly proud of our partners and all the volunteers involved for joining hands and uniting behind a common cause – to help the underprivileged.”
“We’re especially grateful for the work that MKOKU continues to do—not just through this initiative, but in their day-to-day efforts to support people with disabilities and raise awareness. When we collaborate with shared purpose and empathy, we move closer to building a more inclusive, compassionate, and sustainable future for everyone.”

Since its inception, ‘Let’s Give Back This Ramadhan’ has grown into one of Baiduri Bank’s most impactful CSR initiatives, bringing together employees, community organisations, and corporate partners to uplift communities during the fasting month.
