BAIDURI CAPITAL HELPS INVESTORS BUILD CONFIDENCE WITH PRACTICAL PORTFOLIO CONSTRUCTION SESSION
06 February 2026

Baiduri Capital is continuing its investor education efforts with an upcoming session titled “Portfolio Construction 101: Building a Resilient Investment Portfolio”, designed to help investors better understand how different investments can work together to support long-term financial goals.

The session will be led by Hazelle Soon, co-founder of The Joyful Investors, a leading financial education firm based in Singapore that is committed to helping investors build an investment strategy that shifts focus from retirement age to achieving financial independence early. It supports Baiduri Capital’s ongoing approach to making investing more accessible through clear, practical guidance. Rather than focusing on market predictions or individual products, the session will centre on helping participants understand the basics of portfolio construction and how to make investment decisions with greater confidence.

Over the past year, Baiduri Capital has introduced a series of learning sessions that guide investors step by step through different aspects of investing. These included “Building Dividend Portfolios: Identifying Income Opportunities Globally”, led by Willie Keng, CFA, founder of Dividend Titan, which focused on generating income over time, and “2026 Investment Outlook: How to Build Long-Term Wealth Globally”, presented by Gerald Wong CFA, Founder and CEO of Beansprout, which explored broader market trends and investment options.

The upcoming third session builds on this foundation by shifting attention to how investments fit together as a whole. Participants will be introduced to key ideas such as setting clear financial goals, understanding risk and time horizons, and spreading investments across different asset types. The session will also explain, in practical terms, how instruments such as stocks, unit trusts, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), real estate investment trusts (REITs), and bonds can play different roles within a balanced portfolio.

Commenting on the initiative, Brian Wong, General Manager of Baiduri Capital, said, “We want investing to feel approachable, not overwhelming. By treating investor education as a journey, we are helping individuals build understanding progressively, from the basics to product awareness, and now to how portfolios are put together. This session is about giving investors simple frameworks and clarity, so they can make decisions that feel right for their goals and comfort levels.”

Customers and members of the public who are interested in attending the session may contact Baiduri Capital’s general line at 226 8588 during office hours, or email [email protected] for more information and registration details.
