MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING SIGNING CEREMONY BETWEEN MINISTRY OF CULTURE, YOUTH AND SPORTS AND BAIDURI BANK

Bandar Seri Begawan, 17 April 2021 - Today witnessed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony for the Development of Native Mobile Application for Volunteers (Mengalinga) between the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, Brunei Darussalam and Baiduri Bank.

Present as the Guest of Honour to witness the milestone was Yang Berhormat Major General (R) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports.

On board as the strategic partner of the project, Baiduri Bank will support the development of the mobile application as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative and supporting the government’s initiative to create a digital platform and promote volunteerism in the country.

The volunteer app, with a targeted launch in August this year, will comprise of different features, however, its primary function is to provide a platform to enable event organisers and non-government organizations to promote volunteering opportunities and allow aspiring volunteers to join these activities through the app.

“As part of the Bank's CSR programme and our support towards the whole nation approach, we are very proud to be able to support the Ministry's initiative to provide a platform for volunteerism through this mobile app, especially when the current generation is prone to using mobile and going towards the digital technology.” said Mr Ti Eng Hui, Chief Executive Officer of Baiduri Bank during his welcoming remarks.

“In realising the aspirations of Wawasan Brunei 2035 and to build a Smart Nation, the Ministry will always be committed towards providing platforms and empowerment opportunities for every individual to contribute to society,” said Kolonel (R) Pengiran Haji Maiddin bin Pengiran Haji Said, Deputy Permanent Secretary (Youth and Sports) in his speech.

Signing on behalf of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports were Yang Mulia Pg Haji Mohd Hasnan bin Pg Haji Ali Hassan, Permanent Secretary (Strategy and Policy Management), Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, and Yang Mulia Dayang Mariam binti Ulat, Acting Director of Youth and Sports department, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.

Signing on behalf of Baiduri Bank were Mr Ti and Pg Azaleen bin Pg Dato Haji Mustapha, Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Business Development) of Baiduri Bank.

19 September 2023

We would like to inform you that with effect from 31 October 2023, Business i-Banking service will no longer be operational, and this will be replaced with our new Baiduri b.Digital Business service.

If your company has not transitioned to b.Digital Business, please ensure that every existing user provides the following by 8 October 2023 through the Business i-Banking Inbox:
  • User’s full name
  • User’s valid Identification Card (IC) or Passport
  • User’s mobile number
  • User's company assigned email address (General company email is not accepted e.g., [email protected])

Alternatively, you can complete the b.Digital Business Amendment Form and submit the form(s) directly to Baiduri Digital Hub, Ground Level, Baiduri Bank Headquarters.

Every user will receive a notification email at their registered email address, once they have been migrated and activated on the b.Digital Business service.

Companies who have not moved to b.Digital Business after 31 October 2023 can re-apply as a new subscriber to the b.Digital Business service. This will require additional documentations to be submitted as part of the application. Refer “Required Documents” here.

Important notice: Our Business i-Banking service will be deactivated soon. To ensure continued access and a smooth transition to the new Baiduri b.Digital Business, please provide your full name, IC, email address and mobile number via Business i-Banking Inbox. If we do not receive updated details from all authorised users, your company will not be migrated to the new platform and a fresh application will be required. For assistance, contact us at [email protected] or call 2268 637/8/9 during business hours. Thank you for your cooperation.

To strengthen our online security measures, effective 8 January 2024, we will introduce the cooling period feature on our Baiduri b.Digital Personal web and mobile app to prevent unauthorised access.
