THE BAIDURI MASTERS 2023 – DAY FOUR UPDATES

The golfing community has turned out in full force for charity, with a total of 734 registrations for the Baiduri Masters with two days left to play of the biggest golf charity fundraiser of the year.

According to Pg Azaleen PD Hj Mustapha, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Business Development cum Vice President of the Baiduri Masters 2023, “It is very encouraging to see the local golfing community and players from around the region come together for this event with a cause after a three year hiatus.”

He added: “The Baiduri Masters is an opportunity for our golfers to showcase their skills, connect and develop bonds over a round of golf whilst contributing to the greater good.”

Asmawi Hj Ismail swooped in to steal the lead of the Baiduri Masters on day four, his 69 gross effort edging Bryan Chiew and Md Irwan Hamid, the podium placers all locked on the same score.

Suhaimi Hj Ibrahim also with a score of 3-under, Ak Syakir Pg Hj Alli (2-under) and multiple former champion Seruji Hj Setia (1-under) completed the top six.

Rounding off the top 12 were Lai Suan Loong (par), Muhd Qawi Fakhri (par), 2018 champion Johari Hj Ahmad (1-over), Moksin Jinaidi (1-over), Pg Hj Ahmad Zaki Al Hakim bin Pg Hj Jambol (2-over) and Semuil Apoi (3-over).

The second weekend of the Baiduri Masters also saw the addition of four new lady golfers vying for the Ladies Gross Champion. However, Almas Syazwani Kamis still remains at the top of the Ladies category with her score of 7-over.

Tournament proceeds will go to four charitable organisations: SMARTER Brunei, Learning Ladders Society, YASKA and JAPEM.

Participants are vying for the new Challenge Trophy and the coveted Green Jacket. The hole-in-one prizes include a BMW iX3 on hole 16, Mini Cooper 3 Door Brick Lane Edition on hole 9 or BND20,000 on holes 7 and 13.

Registrations for this Sunday are still open. Interested players can confirm their participation in this year’s tournament by submitting their forms and making payment in full at the registration counter of the Pantai Mentiri Golf Club.

We would like to inform you that with effect from 31 October 2023, Business i-Banking service will no longer be operational, and this will be replaced with our new Baiduri b.Digital Business service.

If your company has not transitioned to b.Digital Business, please ensure that every existing user provides the following by 8 October 2023 through the Business i-Banking Inbox:
  • User’s full name
  • User’s valid Identification Card (IC) or Passport
  • User’s mobile number
  • User's company assigned email address (General company email is not accepted e.g., [email protected])

Alternatively, you can complete the b.Digital Business Amendment Form and submit the form(s) directly to Baiduri Digital Hub, Ground Level, Baiduri Bank Headquarters.

Every user will receive a notification email at their registered email address, once they have been migrated and activated on the b.Digital Business service.

Companies who have not moved to b.Digital Business after 31 October 2023 can re-apply as a new subscriber to the b.Digital Business service. This will require additional documentations to be submitted as part of the application. Refer “Required Documents” here.

Important notice: Our Business i-Banking service will be deactivated soon. To ensure continued access and a smooth transition to the new Baiduri b.Digital Business, please provide your full name, IC, email address and mobile number via Business i-Banking Inbox. If we do not receive updated details from all authorised users, your company will not be migrated to the new platform and a fresh application will be required. To strengthen our online security measures, effective 8 January 2024, we will introduce the cooling period feature on our Baiduri b.Digital Personal web and mobile app to prevent unauthorised access.
