THE BAIDURI MASTERS 2023 – DAY ONE UPDATES

On a picturesque Friday morning, Hj Haliluddin DSP Talib, Managing Director of Baiduri Finance cum President of the Baiduri Masters, Pg Azaleen Pg Dato Hj Mustapha, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Business Development cum Vice-President of the Baiduri Masters, and Col. (B) Zahrin bin Hj Zunaidi, Chairman of Pantai Mentiri Golf Club, teed off at hole 10 to mark the opening of the 25th Baiduri Masters at 6:40am.

Scores of golfers eagerly awaited the siren to raise the curtain on play before arrowing their first shots onto the course once they heard it blaring – the barrage of golf balls producing an audible echo as they thudded onto the freshly cut green.

Bryan Chiew Chun Hao was the early frontrunner, parring the course for 72 during the opening session at Pantai Mentiri Golf Club yesterday.

Two strokes behind in second was Pg Hj Ahmad Zaki Al Hakim bin Pg Hj Jambol, with Hj Shahminan Hj Damit rounding off the podium places at 4-over.

Hj Afif Daraina bin PDH Badaruddin in fourth was 7-over, with Mohd Zulehram bin Yakub (9-over) and Adanani Engin (13-over) completing the top six.

Rounding off the top twelve were Hj Md Zulraimi Hj Awg Johari (13-over), Chuan Ian Campbell (13-over), Azmi bin Hj Ahmad (15-over), Md Ridha bin Hj Asmat (16-over), Mohd Fauzi bin Hj Timbang (17-over) and Chong Chee Soon (19-over).

To date, a total of 587 golfers have registered for the charity golf tournament.

Registrations for the Baiduri Masters is still open. There are 45 slots available for the afternoon session this Sunday.

Golfers can compete across four categories: Men’s Open, Senior, Ladies Open and Junior (age 13-18).
Interested players can confirm their participation in this year’s tournament by submitting their forms and making payment in full at the registration counter of the Pantai Mentiri Golf Club.
Proceeds from the tournament will go to several charitable organisations including SMARTER Brunei, Learning Ladders Society and YASKA.

Participants are vying for the new Challenge Trophy and the coveted Green Jacket. The hole-in-one prizes include a BMW iX3 on hole 16, Mini Cooper 3 Door Brick Lane Edition on hole 9 or BND20,000 on holes 7 and 13.

We would like to inform you that with effect from 31 October 2023, Business i-Banking service will no longer be operational, and this will be replaced with our new Baiduri b.Digital Business service.

If your company has not transitioned to b.Digital Business, please ensure that every existing user provides the following by 8 October 2023 through the Business i-Banking Inbox:

User’s full name
User’s valid Identification Card (IC) or Passport
User’s mobile number
User's company assigned email address (General company email is not accepted e.g., [email protected])

Alternatively, you can complete the b.Digital Business Amendment Form and submit the form(s) directly to Baiduri Digital Hub, Ground Level, Baiduri Bank Headquarters.

Every user will receive a notification email at their registered email address, once they have been migrated and activated on the b.Digital Business service.

Companies who have not moved to b.Digital Business after 31 October 2023 can re-apply as a new subscriber to the b.Digital Business service. This will require additional documentations to be submitted as part of the application. Refer “Required Documents” here.

Important notice: Our Business i-Banking service will be deactivated soon. To ensure continued access and a smooth transition to the new Baiduri b.Digital Business, please provide your full name, IC, email address and mobile number via Business i-Banking Inbox. If we do not receive updated details from all authorised users, your company will not be migrated to the new platform and a fresh application will be required.
