Two days into the Baiduri Masters 2026, the race for the Green Jacket is beginning to take shape at Pantai Mentiri Golf Club (PMGC), with several contenders emerging as the tournament heads into Day Three.

Zul Rosli, Johari Ahmad, and Muhd Irwan Hj Abd Hamid share the lead after carding matching rounds of 70. Johari, a former Baiduri Masters champion, surged into contention with one of the day's standout performances, joining Muhd Irwan, whose opening-round score of 70 was enough to keep him among the tournament leaders.

Just one stroke behind is Hj Shahminan Hj Damit on 71, keeping himself firmly within striking distance. Julian Kamaluddin and Bryan Chiew remain close on the leaders' heels after posting matching rounds of 72, ensuring the battle at the top remains finely poised.

Behind the leading group, Hj Lutfi Hj Hanif and Lee Jack Hui share seventh place on 75, while Suhaimi Hj Ibrahim, Dilip Kumar Thapa, and Kushal Kumar Gurung sit tied on 77. Rabindra Prakash Tulachan rounds out the top 12 with a score of 78.

While three players currently share the lead, the leaderboard remains far from settled. With one more day of competition remaining this weekend before the tournament resumes next week, a strong round could quickly reshape the standings and alter the race for the coveted Green Jacket and Challenge Trophy.

Adding to the excitement are the tournament's attractive hole-in-one prizes, including a BMW X3 on Hole 13, a Porsche Macan EV on Hole 16, a MINI Cooper on Hole 9, and a BND20,000 cash prize on Hole 7. The closest any golfer has come so far remains a remarkable shot that stopped just 3.35 centimetres from the hole on Day One, a near miss that continues to be one of the tournament's biggest talking points as players chase golfing perfection over the remaining rounds.

Beyond the competition, the Baiduri Masters continues to serve as a platform for community giving. Proceeds from this year's tournament will support La Vida, SMARTER Brunei, Learning Ladders Society, Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam, and An-Nur Harapan. In 2025, the tournament attracted more than 800 golfers and raised BND82,000 for charity.
