Sending MoneySending Money
How do I send money?
- Visit your nearest Baiduri Bank.
- Western Union Money Transfer is available at all Baiduri Bank branches except for Kiulap and The One. Branches are open from 9:00am to 3:30pm (Monday to Friday) and Saturday 9:00am to 11:30am. All branches are closed from 12:00pm to 2:00pm on Fridays.
- If you haven’t done so, complete the Bank’s Customer Information Form which will be provided by the Bank and submit along with your original valid government-issued photo identification.
- Give the Agent your payment together with the necessary fees in cash.
- The Agent will then give you a receipt and your Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN).
- Put your signature on the receipt. Transaction is complete.
Relay the necessary information to your beneficiary, such as the sender’s name, amount sent, MTCN, and the country the money was sent from. In the case of Direct to Bank service to Philippines and Indonesia, the money will be transferred to the receiver’s bank account.
In case of a new receiver, please ask for the “New Instruction” form and fill in receiver information and the country of send.You must be a Baiduri Bank customer to continue using Western Union services at our branches. You are not required to main an account with the Bank.-

3. Present your original valid Brunei IC (for Bruneian residents) or original valid Brunei IC and passport (for foreign residents)
4. A Western Union Gold Card will be issued to you once your registration has been accepted.

How do I collect my money?
- Visit your nearest Baiduri Bank.
- Complete the ‘To Receive Money’ form and hand it to the Agent with your current original valid government-issued photo identification and Money Transfer Control Number.
- You’ll be given a Receipt. Read through it thoroughly and then put your signature on it.
- The Agent will then hand you the Receipt and your money.
- In the case of Direct to Bank service to Philippines and Indonesia, the money will be transferred to the receiver’s bank account.
What do I need to bring in order to collect my money?
Please get these details ready:
- The sender’s full name (that is, first, middle and last names).
- The country where the money was sent.
- The amount that was sent.
- The Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN).
- Your government-issued identification with photo.
How do I find out if my money is ready to be collected?Simply locate the ‘Tracking’ link on the homepage of Western Union (https://www.westernunion.com/bn/en/home.html) website. Then type in the sender’s name and Money Transfer Control Number. We’ll then update you on the latest status of your money transfer.
Generally, money transfers are paid in cash. However, in some foreign countries, in some cases, we may use a money transfer cheque or pay-out card. -
